Today I received the festive hat and jingle shirt that I ordered from Nook’s last night. So now I’m ready for the Ho-Ho-Holidays.
I was trying to talk to Bob about getting him to stay in town. But the fishing tournament was underway, so all he would talk about was fish.
After checking for new black roses (there were none), I decided to try a little fishing myself. The competition was for the largest fish, so naturally I was looking for sea bass. The first big shadow I saw was a lobster.
I wasn’t about to give Chip (the fishing tournament judge) my valuable lobster. Although a lobster is worth 2,500 bells, I was thinking it was worth even more than that.
But I was not finding any more large fish shadows. I caught a few medium-sized ones, and ended up with two football fish (also worth 2,500 bells apiece). Believe it or not, it took me 15 minutes before I caught a single sea bass. And when I took it to Chip, it still wasn’t big enough to top Avery’s 41 inch sea bass.
I didn’t want to spend the whole day searching for sea bass, so I sold my remaining fish and ended my game for the day. I’ll get you next time, Avery. Next time.
When I talked to Bob, he said he had to move out of Forest. 😮 Sorry Bob, you’re not allowed to leave. Ever.
I told him not to leave, and he said he’ll try to get out of it, but he’s not sure if he can. I’ll have to keep talking to him in the coming days.
We just hung out and acted like our crazy selves.
Megan “accidentally” ate a tile. After this, I had to take her off the admirable list and put her on the impish list.
We started doing some fishing. At one point, Yann went on BRB, but after a bit, she was no longer in that same spot and we didn’t know where she was.
We went into Nook’s and while we were all trying to push Nook, all three of us ended up merging together.
We did the Nook’s door glitch, and then we went back to fishing. Megan was trying to catch some of the fish she needed for her list, and she ended up catching three of them tonight. We each caught a sea
But Megan was the only one of us to catch a coelacanth tonight.
I let them take my extra flowers that I had in my free-flower area; they both went home to unload their pockets and came back. We did some of our classic word-association craziness and then I ended the party for the night.
I then returned to Forest. Anabelle said she just ate 50 pounds of carrot cake. I guess that explains why she’s so orange.
When I went to talk to Del, he asked me to get him some new clothes. I guess he doesn’t like my pattern that he’s wearing.
I then ran into Bob. He said Sally complained that he had been saying “gobble” too much, so he asked me for a new catchphrase. I tried to think of something Christmas-related and I ended up with “you elf.”
I went on to Able’s and bought a blue puffy vest for Del.
To my surprise, Del actually liked it. He’s apparently going to wear it while he goes out looking for babes. Good luck with that, Del, since you still have swamp breath.
He gave me a croton as a reward. How exciting.
