A Crazy Friday Night

I opened my gate around 10:10 tonight. Megan and Yann came over to visit. We went into the Able Sisters’ shop, and when I came out, Jambette was standing there just waiting for me.

Jeff, to Jambette: STALKER!At one point, Yann got a blue kotatsu (I don’t even remember where she got it…the recycle bin perhaps) and was asking what it looked like. So I put it in my house so she could see it.

Jeff: Flowers not included. After a bit, we spontaneously started doing something that made no sense at all, but was inexplicably hilarious. Megan would turn the light off and we started applauding (the “delight” emotion). Then she would turn it on and we all used shock/disbelief. We went back and forth doing that for a while and got a good laugh out of it. It was at that moment that I realized we were all completely insane. 😀

Applauding the darkness. We later tried to visit Del (Yann’s husband), but he was sick and wouldn’t let us in.

Sign on Del's house: No visitors. Danger! Keep out! Infectious! We spent a good while catching rare fish and summer bugs, including some nice golden stags.

Yann, Jeff, and Megan all holding golden stags. At one point, Megan’s batteries died. She made the mistake of announcing that fact, so I took advantage of the situation and pitfall’d her.

Megan, caught in a pitfall: RUDE.While catching bugs and fish, my pockets would often fill up and I would have to temporarily drop an item until I got back to Nook’s to sell my catches. On multiple occasions, Megan has seen me drop the same particular item, an “A shirt.” So of course, she had to make fun of me for it.

Note on the bulletin board: A Shirt was here. And there. -MeganBy 1:00, we headed to Nook’s before he closed up shop for the night. I earned 156,850 bells just on bugs and fish caught tonight.

Jeff: 156,850 bells tonight. We again did the Nook door glitch. Later, we made our way to the Forest Museum, where Megan was checking out the exhibits.

Yann: I need to catch these! We watched the bugs fight and we just started talking; we actually hung out in there for a very long time. I was getting tired (and crazy) and for a while I was kind of repeating everything Yann said, but making it slightly different.

For example, Yann would say “just flying around my face” and I would say “just filing my round face.” She said “people are deactivating” and I would say “pickles are deceiving.” She said “he’s deforming my conversation” and I said “he’s devaluing my Converse.” And so on.

I had put my controller down and they were pushing me all around the bug room. After a while, I was so “drunk” (haha, not really) that they had to push me all the way back to my house. It was kind of a crazy night and I was quite tired, but we had a good time.

Victoria Moved Out

Just a quick update. Victoria moved out today. This was her goodbye letter.

Like, to Jeff, I totally had to think about it for, like, forever...but I decided to move after all. Sniff! Don't forget me when I'm gone, OK?! -From your BFF, VictoriaAnd this was the void left behind where her house was.

The empty spot where Victoria's house was.I filled in all that dirt with flowers so that the grass will regrow quicker. Not much else happened today. I watered my flowers and found two new black roses. I haven’t been getting many new hybrids lately, so it was nice to finally get a couple.

Creepy Carpet DLC

Nintendo sent out the latest item in the creepy DLC set today. Here is the letter that came with it.

Dear Jeff, What better way to surround yourself in the spirit of the season than with this creepy wallpaper?! Happy haunting! -NintendoOh, the creepy wallpaper. Uh…wait a minute here. The item attached is not the creepy wallpaper, but the creepy carpet!

The creepy carpet DLC on display in my house.Nintendo goofed and sent the wrong letter with the item! Oops! Well, I guess it’s not as bad as misspelling November. As for the creepy wallpaper, that won’t be released until October 16th. It will be the final piece of the creepy set.

I also got my monthly bank statement from the Bank of Nintendo in the mail. I earned 67,200 bells in interest for the month.

Dear Jeff, We appreciate your business and hope that you are satisfied with our service. You have earned 67,200 bells in interest. -BANK OF NINTENDOThen I walked around town and watered my flowers. Bob thanked me for giving the message to Guest yesterday, and he gave me a military uniform. I guess he wants me to play dress-up with him.

Anyway, I then rode the bus to the city to check Crazy Redd’s inventory for the week.

A triforce, a calm painting, and a green lava lamp in Crazy Redd's shop.He had a triforce, a calm painting, and a green lava lamp. Those aren’t bad items, but I’ve had them all before and didn’t need them.
