Steep Hill

I went to The Roost tonight to watch K.K. perform. Yuka was also in there, having a cup of coffee. I told K.K. he could choose a song, and he picked Steep Hill. It’s a sad song, but it’s also one of my favorites. I still remember the first time I heard it.

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: Steep Hill.I also talked to Yuka. But I still don’t like her.

Yuka: This place is more comfortable than you'd think, unlike you.I then went around town, watering flowers and talking to animals. I left the Steep Hill aircheck by Scott’s house, since he needs music and I don’t.

When I went to visit Del, he was talking about how much he likes watching baseball. He then asked me to deliver a package to Bob.

Del: What? I'm not asking you to build the pyramids! Just take this package to a friend, you witch.I made the delivery. It was a glass-top table.

Bob: What?! A present from Del, in bed?!I then returned to Del, who rewarded me with a snowboard. Cool.

Del: As a little thank-you, take a snowboard. Enjoy, you witch!

Friday Night Forest

I went into Scott’s house and saw him sleeping in the attic. That was kind of weird.

Jeff watches Scott sleep in his attic.Later on, I talked to Del and he said he was considering moving out of Forest. I told him not to go, and he decided to stay.

Del: And moving's such a hassle, anyway. All right, you've convinced me. I'll stay in Forest! At 10:05, I opened my gate for Friday Night Forest. Yann came over to visit. While in Nook’s, for some reason I was watching Nook’s nose twitch as he talked.

Jeff: Nook's nose wiggles when he talks.I went in my house and tried on some accessories I had saved in storage. I also grabbed a few party poppers.

Firing off a party popper in Yann's face.As I was looking at the comments of people on my friend roster, I also double checked my own.

My profile comment: www.jvgs.net/accfblogWe went into Kid Cat’s house and I saw that he had a campfire at the foot of his weight bench. I guess that’s one way to feel the burn.

A campfire at the foot of a weight bench in Kid Cat's house. Then we went into the observatory and Celeste informed me that a new constellation named “Rose” had been discovered.

Celeset: Rose? Let's see...I eventually spotted it, but it’s just a single line between two stars. I’m not sure who made it, but whoever it was apparently made a stem and then gave up.

The "rose" constellation, which is just a line between two stars.Later on, we went fishing for a while. Nobody else ever joined Yann and I, so I ended up closing the gate around 11:45.

Gracie Dresser DLC

Today, Pete met me outside my door and handed me a letter from Nintendo. The new DLC for May was attached, a Gracie dresser.

Pete: Oh, hey there, Jeff! The Gracie dresser on display in my ACCF house.I also got a letter from Mint, thanking me for helping her when she was sick. She sent me a paper lantern.

To: Jeff. Being sick really lets you know who will stick by you. Thanks for helping. I hope I can repay the favor! -MintI also got my monthly letter from the Bank of Nintendo. This month, I earned 55,300 bells in interest.

Dear Jeff, We appreciate your business and hope that you are satisfied with our service. You have earned 55,300 bells in interest. -BANK OF NINTENDOI then went to Nook’s to sell my Gracie dresser, paper lantern, and a few other items I didn’t need any more (beak, pilot shades, etc.). While there, I saw that Nook had a silver net for sale. I picked one up just in case any of my Friday visitors want it.

Tom Nook: Yes, yes, that's something I don't get in too often! Indeed, it's rare to see a silver net!I also went around talking to some of my animals. Rowan gave me a new nickname, J-Dog.

Rowan: OK, ready to have your mind blown? J-dog!
