I started up the game and checked my mail. To my surprise, there was a goodbye letter from Gigi.
I also had a letter from Abbey. She sent me a statue of “E.T.”–her brother. It was a spaceman. It was actually an item I needed for my catalog anyway.
I went around town, watering my flowers and talking to some animals. They were getting ready for the harvest festival.
And of course, Tortimer was at town hall, preparing for the event.
I was tired of Kid Cat calling me “Mach Girl,” and he still hasn’t asked me for a catchphrase, so I reported him at town hall. He won’t be calling me that anymore.
I turned the game off for a while, and then came back to it at 6:00. Franklin was out and about, so I stocked up on forks and knives from Tortimer and went Franklin hunting.
Skye came over to visit and we searched for Franklin together. Although she didn’t completely know how the festival worked, I tried to fill her in.
She couldn’t get over how cute Franklin was. Him? At one point, I swear she was trying to kiss him when he leaned out from behind a tree! 😀
Anyway, she left around 7:00. I continued to search for Franklin until around 7:45 or so. I sold all the harvest furniture I accumulated and earned about 44,000 bells. Unfortunately, the harvest furniture is worth much less than the spooky and Jingle furniture you can get at Halloween and Christmas. Anyway, I’ll leave you with a picture of Franklin’s worst hiding place of the night.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
Pascal the otter was in town. I didn’t have any scallops on me, so I went on and watered my flowers. As I got to the beach, I looked for scallops and found two. I attached one to a letter so I’d have it for next time. And when I got back around to Pascal, I gave it to him and he gave me a ship deck (flooring). Then of course, he jumped into the river.
I sold some mushrooms, fossils, and furniture I had in my inventory. I deposited my money into the bank and my balance topped nine million bells.
I quickly delivered it and returned to Butch. He thanked me.
If you can tell where I was standing, it was in front of Nook’s, but that spot is also directly behind town hall. So I thought I’d take a rather unusual picture while I was there:
I picked the mushrooms (including a rare mushroom I dug up) and watered my flowers. I found two new black roses, one of which was by my usual blue rose hotspot (next to Scott’s house).
