Today, Pete greeted me with the new DLC for September, the golden screen.

Believe it or not, there are only three more pieces to the set. But my upstairs (6×6) doesn’t look like it’s going to comfortably fit all of it. Even if one of the remaining items is just the floor.

Tonight, I opened my gate shortly after 10:00. I watered my flowers and Chris (wearing the baby hat) came in. At one point, he was playing the Nyan cat song for a little bit. :/

Then I saw Miss Piggy run by (with long blonde hair) and I thought it was someone else. I wasn’t expecting that. We pushed Ruby half-way across town to trap her at the dead end. We tried to push her off the cliff, but no such luck.

Then, we went to the observatory at the museum to try to recreate the glitch I did with Jon last week. Again, no luck.

Bradley then came in. We hung out in my house for a while, then caught a few bugs/fish outside. Then Chris started making monkey sounds. Bradley left after a while, and Chris started quizzing me, asking me football questions. I guess he didn’t think I knew much about football. At this point, he wasn’t even playing the game…just letting his character stand there while he read stuff on the web (out loud of course). By 11:45, I decided to close my gate.

Today I saw a giant petaltail flying near the edge of town. I thought it might be a good chance to catch it with the cliff there to limit its movement, and I was right. So I got my net out and caught it after it flew into a corner. It’s only the second one I’ve ever caught. I then sold it to Nook for 8,000 bells.

Blanca was in town without a face. She (?) said she wanted a fancy face. I never put much effort into Blanca’s faces, but I tried to make it at least a little bit fancy. 😀

Bob was telling me about his dream, in which he called me cookie. He wanted to keep calling me cookie, but I said no.

It is September now, which means a new DLC: the golden screen. Unfortunately, mine didn’t come today. Hopefully tomorrow.

I talked to Curly and he told me he will be leaving town soon. I didn’t try to stop him, since his house has been blocking my path for months. Nothing personal, bacon boy, I just don’t like where you parked your house.

I saw a scorpion outside, so I tried to catch it…and failed.

With it being August 31st, tonight was the last chance to catch the full array of summer bugs. So I took advantage of the situation and caught insects for a while. I also caught a shark. I deposited the money I earned, and my bank account balance topped 8 million bells in the process.
