It was raining here in real life today, so I was hoping it would be raining in Forest too, so I wouldn’t have to water my flowers. No such luck. So I started my daily walk around town, watering wilties along the way. (Yes, I call them wilties, haha). I saw Antonio walking on water:

Haha just kidding. The river turns up there, but it looks like he’s walking on the water, doesn’t it? 😛 I found Saharah was in town, looking for old wallpaper.

My newest villager Chief, who has quickly become one of my favorites, was happy to give me his old wallpaper.

Tipper also gave me her old wallpaper. But no one else did. Well Bob mysteriously went missing; I couldn’t find him anywhere. Maybe he was using the litterbox. But fortunately, I remembered I had an old wallpaper in storage, from last time. So I took the three old wallpapers to Saharah and got the desert vista.

Not bad, but I probably won’t keep it. It was one I never had before, so at least I was able to check it off my catalog checklist. I hope Saharah is looking for carpets next time, because I really need the lunar surface. I’ve been wanting to make a space room for ages, but I never got the lunar surface. 😛

As for flowers, two new black roses popped up today….sweet! That’s four in two days, lucky me. 🙂

It’s a nice, sunny day here in Forest. And being early April, the regular trees are pink this time of year.

It’s Sunday, so I took the bus to the city to check for new emotes. I’ve been trying to see Frillard again, since he hasn’t made an appearance in almost a year, but no luck. Phineas was in the city though, and he gave me an orange balloon. I also saw Mac and Lolly, who are two animals that I’d like to have as villagers.

Then I went back to my town and started watering my flowers. I was happy to find two new black roses had popped up. I was almost done watering when I stopped to talk to Chief.

That’s right, he offered to play hide and seek, with him, Tipper, and Daisy. Since I haven’t played hide and seek for a long time, I agreed to hunt him and his friends down. Fifteen minutes seemed like plenty of time to find them all (and it usually is), so I didn’t rush. I went on and finished watering my last few flowers. After circling around town, this is what I saw when I reached my house:

I always think it looks funny when they’re hiding and peeking their head out like that. Shortly after this, I completed one circle around my town and had only found one animal, so I started another go-round.

This time around, I found Tipper hiding behind the Able Sisters shop. I completed a second circle around Forest, and time was running out. I couldn’t find Daisy! At times like this, having a nice town really hurts. Because with all the flowers everywhere, you can’t hold the run button and scamper around quickly or else I’d be destroying the flowers I’ve worked so hard to breed.

And indeed, time ran out without me ever finding Daisy. She must have had a good hiding spot. Hanging my head in shame, I decided it was time to wrap it up for the day. I’ll get you next time, Daisy!

Hello and welcome to my new Animal Crossing: City Folk (ACCF) blog. If you don’t know, I’m jvgsjeff on Youtube and you can check out my many ACCF videos there. Here is a video tour of my town.

My current town residents are Mint, Daisy, Curly, Chief, Tipper, Antonio, Del, Rhonda, Bob, and Winnie. My favorites are Bob, Antonio, and Del. Chief is my newest animal, but he’s pretty cool too. I have him in my 2nd GameCube town, Ohio.

For the record, I don’t hack or cheat. I only time traveled once, and that was strictly to save my flowers one time when my ACCF disc went bad and it took me a few days to get a new one.

I have a few goals in my ACCF town. One is to complete the museum. I still need one summer bug that I had already caught, but forgot to donate. Oops! I also still need two paintings. My ultimate goal is to breed enough gold roses to line all my paths. I currently have a lot of red (and some black) roses lined all around my town and I’m in the breeding process. It’s going to take a long time to do, but I don’t mind. Setting goals and working towards them is a big part of the fun in any Animal Crossing game. Please don’t offer me gold roses, because I don’t want them. Sorry if that sounds rude, but I want to do this on my own.

I’ll try to keep this blog updated on whatever happens in my town Forest. Like which animals come and go, any updates on my crossbreeding, and even highlights of my adventures on Wi-Fi with other players.
