Tia’s Bug Book

Gulliver sent me a hula doll in the mail, and I put it in the sumo ring for now. She’s preparing to battle against a garden gnome. It’s too bad items can’t be placed diagonally (at least small, single-spaced items like these).

Will Hula Doll skirt around the gnome’s attacks, or will her opponent have gnome-field advantage?

I had a man-faced stink bug placed on the ground outside of Nook’s Cranny (leftover from last night, when I had full pockets). And Tia was examining it today, while consulting a bug book! It was cute!

Because of all the summer recipes that require seashells, I’ve started saving all my seashells in storage for now. I still need quite a few more shells, but I have made a couple of things so far. That includes this shell wreath I made today.

I again encountered the door glitch I mentioned yesterday. But today, it only affected one villager’s house: Agent S. So I was unable to enter her house.

But unlike yesterday, I was able to enter other villagers’ houses. That included Shari’s house, where Shari told me about a weird dream she had.

Shari: So, there was this dinosaur stressing about a mortgage it couldn't pay off in a million years, oh banana.
As a result, Yoshi decided not to pay his taxes.

A few other quick notes about today:

  • Leif was in town, but he didn’t have anything I needed.
  • I again helped Reese & Cyrus on Harv’s island.
  • Midge asked to leave town, but I told her to stay.

There may or may not be an entry tomorrow, but there will be one on Friday. Hope to see you then, if not before. Never Stop Crossing!
