Snake Out

Yesterday, Snake was all packed up and ready to move out of town. I thought about it briefly, and I decided to let him go. He’s had a nice, nearly eight-month stay here in Forest, so he’s free to slither off to another dojo.

Snake: Don't ever forget me, man! You hear me? Never forget! Peace, bunyip!

Olivia was telling me about a weird new restaurant where they serve java-flavored ravioli.

Olivia: They serve java-flavored salmon ravioli...

She said she’d be happy to go with me there…if I paid. 😛

Deena has still been sick with a cold, so I gave her some more medicine yesterday, and then again today.

I received Snake’s goodbye letter in the mail today.

Hoo-ha, Jeff, I'm moving. I have my reasons. No worries, yo! I'm sure you'll remember me fondly. Keep pumpin'! See ya! -From Snake

Olivia was trying to teach me the difference between love and affection today. She said love is tomato soup, and affection is bananas Foster. So she said she’d rather have a lot of tomato soup…or tomato soup. 😕

Olivia: I'd rather have a lot of tomato soup or tomato soup.

And if that wasn’t confusing enough, she then told me to remember it’s a lie. 😛

Olivia: Remember that, it's a lie!

Bob asked me to make a delivery to Butch, and of course I helped out my two favorite villagers. After handing Butch the letter, Butch was surprised that I actually got off my rear to deliver it!

Butch: And you actually got off your rear to deliver the letter?
Excuse me? My rear? What about Bob?

Bob then rewarded me with a haz-mat barrel. I appreciate the gesture, but it may be a sign of a toxic relationship. âš

See you next week!
