Acorn Festival 2022

I received a letter from town hall today, informing me that I earned 27,730 bells in interest on my bank account. Not bad!

The Acorn Festival is underway this week, and Cornimer is hanging out near town hall. He told me that he uses his special powers to scatter acorns around town. That’s not exactly the most impressive superpower, if you ask me. 😛

Cornimer: For the next week, I'll be using my special powers to scatter acorns around town.

You can find acorns under trees around town, but it requires a lot of walking back and forth to take them to Cornimer (since our pocket space is limited to 15 items, and no stacking in this game).

You must dispose of the rotten acorns to avoid angering Cornimer, and give him only the good acorns. But Tortimer can also give you a fortune. Mine didn’t really reveal much, though.

Your secret fortune: Mini Acorn.
Life: Do your best!
Hopes: It'll be OK.
Karma: Do ten chin-ups.
Look behind you!

Wolfgang really seemed to be enjoying the festival. A little too much, if you ask me. 😛

Wolfgang: But acorn-hoarding gets me in the loopiest mood! Whooohahaha!

Today is also Goose’s birthday, and I bought an oil drum at the shop to give him as a gift. But by the time I got to his party, I was kinda falling asleep as I played. 😴 And I accidentally gave him an unidentified fossil! Oops! 😲

Goose: A fossil, huh, nutty?!

But he still accepted it, and he even gave me a raven pole in return.

Eloise was still sick, so I gave her some cold medicine.

After giving him Tortimer a total of 63 acorns, I earned a mush stool, a mush end table, a mush lamp, a mush chair, and a mush dresser. I didn’t need them, so I sold them to Tom Nook for a total of 10,750 bells.

You have until Sunday to participate in the Acorn Festival, so good luck! 🙂
