Ditches and a Crack

On Wednesday, I listened in on an interesting conversation between Octavian and Peanut. Octavian was trying to find a part-time job for Peanut, and he suggested digging ditches. 😆

Octavian: You love digging ditches, don't you? Well, of course ya do!

Of course, Peanut didn’t want to dig ditches. Instead, she wanted to sell waterfront real estate. 😛

Peanut: Don't you even know that the new 'it' job is selling waterfront real estate?

Octavian got mad that she didn’t like his suggestion, and he called Peanut a brat, and then a (spoiled) princess. They both walked away sad after that encounter.

Octavian: Hmph! You really are a brat, aren't you, Peanut?

I finally got to see the inside of Tank’s house now that’s he has unpacked. (He’s been outdoors just about every time I’ve played.) And his house is a bit…sparse. All of his furniture is along the north and east walls, leaving a huge open area. Well, maybe a tank like him needs a lot of room to operate. 😛

Speaking of empty space, I found Peanut’s house completely empty yesterday!

Peanut's completely empty house in ACWW.

The reason? She was trying to move out of town! If a villager doesn’t have any regular furniture, just fish and/or bugs (which they can’t pack up), their homes will be completely empty when moving. Of course, I talked Peanut out of moving, so her catches should magically return. 😛 Some of you may remember that this also happened with Big Top a few years back.

Tonight, I spoke with Dotty and she was really excited about something that she found…

Dotty: Hon! I finally found one, hulaaaa!

It was a crack in the ground. Yeah, she found some crack, alright.

Dotty: What, you ask?! It's a crack on the ground! Can you believe it? A CRACK!!!

She didn’t even say where she found it.

At the Roost, I asked K.K. for a random song, and he played K.K. Ska for me.

K.K.: All right, get ready to dig the riffs on this ditty: K.K. Ska!
