When I visited Nibbles tonight, she told me that all of her dresses shrunk when she did her laundry. She said she’s going to have to walk around naked! No, don’t do that!
Big Top found a can of food that expired on the first of last year! He asked me to open it for him, so I did. When he looked inside, he freaked out. He said there was a weird cocoa-colored thing inside. I don’t even want to know what it was.
I saw a large dragonfly flying around, so I got my net out. But of course, it crossed the river and kept flying away. I chased it and chased it, until I finally caught it. It was…a darner dragonfly? It was so big, I thought it was a petaltail!
When I went in Yuka’s house, I saw that she had all her furniture packed up in boxes. She’s moving out of town!

I quickly said bye and then did a little dance to celebrate. 😀
I went to the museum to identify fossils and donate my darner dragonfly. But while I was there, Blathers had some more new dialogue for me. He was talking about more odd customers the museum has been getting lately, including an arrogant man who appeared to be a driver or a pilot.
He said the man would go to each exhibit and start ranting, saying things that just weren’t true.
Unlike last time, when Blathers seemed to be talking about Lyle, this one doesn’t sound like anyone obvious in the Animal Crossing world.
Outside, I caught some more bugs. The subsequent darner dragonflies I caught were much easier than that first one. 😛
Kiki asked me for a new greeting, and I told her to say “Gimme 100 rupees.”

After that, I bought some medicine and took it to Puddles. Get well soon, froggy.
Gracie was in town, but I just kept walking right past her. In town hall, I made a 30,000 bell mortgage payment before wrapping up my day in Forest.

Puddles was sick with a cold, so I gave her some medicine. She quickly chugged it down…or at least I assume that’s what “chulugatalugatalugata” means.
In the museum, Blathers had more dialogue for me. He told me about how the Roost came into existence. To increase the number of museum visitors, he asked his friend Brewster to add a coffee shop. Blathers was happy with the popularity of the café, but he said it also brought in some “undesirables.”
He said there was one fellow in particular, who kept asking him too many personal questions.
The guy then tried to sell Blathers some insurance! Is he talking about Lyle perhaps?
Blathers threw him out of the museum! Wow.
Anyway, I donated a moth to the museum and then headed downstairs for K.K. night. I asked for a random song, and K.K. played K.K. Steppe for me.
Nook’s shop was closed, so I didn’t get to sell anything tonight. So I didn’t bother making a mortgage payment. Maybe next time.
It was raining in town tonight, at least when I first started up. Kiki was not enjoying the rain, and she was looking forward to going home and having a nice hot cup of tea.
I didn’t mind the rain at all, because I thought it would give me a chance to finally catch a snail. But sadly, the rain stopped about three minutes after I started up the game! I guess you can fail to catch a snail.
It’s too bad that I sold my old shirt, because Rod was looking for some new clothes. He said he sweats like a pig, and I believe him. For such a small mouse, he sure has some big body odor.
I did a little fishing, but I didn’t catch anything new. After finding the money rock and identifying two fossils I dug up, I went over to town hall. I made my first payment (30,000 bells) on my new loan.
