When I checked my mail yesterday, I found my weekly evaluation from the HRA (Happy Room Academy). My latest score was 280,900 points: A new record! Putting Dotty’s pic in my space room last week really helped out, even though that wasn’t my intention at all. 😆

Drift was still sick with a cold, so I gave him some medicine. Today, I was on my way to buy him some medicine again, but I arrived at Nookington’s right as Tom Nook was closing up. Oops.

That threw me off my routine, and I forgot to check for the UFO at 11:02. And I was unprepared when I heard it flying overhead. However, because I was on the side of town where it entered, I had enough time to grab my slingshot, race across town east to west, and shoot it down! Success!

It was my 34th UFO shot down in this game, so my Wild World total has now surpassed my City Folk total. I gathered up the UFO parts (even though the last one took me a while to find), and Gulliver rewarded me with another Moai statue. That’s the same reward I got last time. 🗿

I was surprised when I entered Tank’s house and saw that he was already trying to move out! He’s only been here seven days! That’s way too soon for him to leave, so I talked him out of moving. I haven’t even seen the inside of his house (unpacked) yet!

Yesterday, I received a letter from Wishy the shooting star. He sent me a modern cabinet for wishing on him last week.

Drift was talking about baseball, which was his childhood favorite. He said he misses it, but he also cursed “time” for taking away his youth. 🙁

Mitzi’s replacement has moved in, and it’s Tank the rhino. He’s alright, but he’s certainly no Mitzi.

Today is March 1st, so I received my monthly interest payment on my savings account. I earned 53,000 bells of interest this time.

Drift came down with a cold today, so I bought some medicine for him. I’m sure he’ll be needing more of it next week too. Get well soon, Drift.

Eloise was talking about Tom Nook being at the shop all the time, and she wondered if he was married? Wait, why are you asking??

Peanut wanted to have a competition to see who could catch a horse mackerel first. Those are pretty easy to find, so I accepted the challenge (and promptly won). Peanut rewarded me with a weight bench. It’s funny how a cute little squirrel just happened to have a full weight bench in her pocket. 😛

Dotty randomly pinged me, and she gave me her picture! Wow, I wasn’t expecting this! Thanks, Dotty! 🙂

I took it home to take a look at it. My house doesn’t have much free space, so I had to put it in the space room for now. 😆

Yesterday, I got something in the mail that I never wanted to see. It was a goodbye letter from Mitzi, who left unexpectedly. 🙁

Today, Drift asked me to make a delivery to Eloise. It was a gold armor suit, and Eloise said she liked it…but for some reason, her reaction sounded a bit insincere to me.

She thanked me for the delivery, and Drift later rewarded me with 510 bells.

I spotted a large fish shadow in the river, and I caught myself a stringfish! I always love catching these. 😁

When I ran into Octavian, he told me the spot where we were standing reminded him of a nail clipper he once had. Wait, what?

When I came out of Caroline’s house, I heard (and spotted) a shooting star up in the sky. I quickly made a wish.

I’ll get a letter from Wishy in the mail next time, although I’m not hoping for anything in particular.

Dotty has still been sick this week, so I gave her more medicine Wednesday, yesterday, and then again today. And of course, that’s in addition to the three doses I gave her last week. Oof. I don’t think this medicine is working. 😛 Get well soon, Dotty.
