This morning, Joan was selling turnips for 91 bells apiece. So I bought 500 of them.
And Rolf told me that after seeing my face, he’s ready to start a new day…up a tree. I’m not exactly sure what that means, but it doesn’t exactly sound like a compliment.
Over at the campsite, Filbert was camping out.
The Able Sisters had a big bro’s shirt, so I bought it. And I look marvelous.
Later in the day, I started up the game again and I was greeted by Pete at my door. He gave me a new DLC, the festival lantern.
I was lucky enough to get four StreetPasses today (believe me, that’s extremely rare) and three of them had New Leaf. So I had three new homes in the Happy Homes Showcase to check out. One of them belonged to Dan from Merrland, a person I had StreetPassed before. So he gave me an indigo balloon!
Dan’s main room was…unique. He had a one lamp and a zero lamp in there. Curiously, the one lamp could be ordered for 1,200 bells, while the zero lamp costs 12,000 bells to order! And of course, the zero lamp was the one I needed. I ordered it and the sleek sideboard. Interestingly, his side and back rooms are blocked off. What are you hiding back there, Dan?
I also ordered his spherical radar. Pretty cool.
One of the other StreetPass homes belonged to Zygona from Reapvile. My favorite room of hers was this comic shop.
The other StreetPass home belonged to Tinder from Lavender. He is apparently a new player, since there wasn’t much in his house yet.
I don’t get very many StreetPasses normally, but it was nice to get a few for a change. That’s all for tonight, but I’ll be back with another update tomorrow. Hope to see you then!
My exhibit room at the museum is filling up with all of these Gulliver items. Either I’m going to have to start lining them up shoulder-to-shoulder with no spaces in between or I’m going to need a second exhibit room for all of these world wonders.
She said a women’s top is the key to unlocking my good fortune? Why is she trying to make a cross-dresser out of me??
Back on Earth, Canberra invited me over to her house. I said no.
I then saw a big fish shadow in the river and fished it out. It was a pike! That was my first pike, so I donated it to the museum.
And for some reason, Benedict wanted me to display fossils
And finally, I went to Club LOL after 8 p.m. to hear some live music from K.K. I asked for a random song, and he performed K.K. Adventure for me. Unfortunately, I had to listen to it while Tabby was there in the club as well. Shouldn’t she be out rotting in a pitfall seed somewhere?
There was a camper over at the campsite today, so I went inside to see who it was. It was Rosie the cat. I played a game of hers, and she bought some of my cherries. Unfortunately, she paid less than market value.
I went in Rolf’s house to deliver a gift from Aurora, and Kidd was in there as well. Rolf said it was like a cool-kid party.
And when I spoke with that other cool Kidd, he was talking about the up-tempo music in anime. Also, his thought bubble gave Rolf a third eye.
Gulliver was down on the beach, and he was complaining about his wrinkled wing tips.
But the clues to his location were extremely easy this week. He’s headed off to Egypt! Awesome!
And when I went to the Dream Suite to update my dream, Luna told me that I’ve had exactly 2,000 visitors!
Thanks to all who have my visited
When I did some shopping at the Able Sisters, Mabel gave me my third mannequin!
I went home to put my third mannequin next to my first two. But as I was doing it, Tabby started yelling for me to come outside. How rude.
I was busy, so I ignored her. After a minute or so, she gave up and left.
Wendy and Daisy came over to visit.
Earlier in the day, Big Top asked me for an orange. But I didn’t find him again until tonight. So I gave him the orange and he gave me a bread box in exchange.
Eventually, I agreed to stop killing people (and wearing the demon cow mask). So I put my fencing mask on instead. Lindsey came over to visit, and I showed her my axe.
We hung out in my house for a little while. And I can’t help but notice how blindingly bright my golden basement is when all the lights are on.
We also went to the campsite to visit with Rosie. As Lindsey was leaving the tent, I caught this odd picture. Lindsey is in silhouette, Rosie was standing at attention with her tail straight out, and what exactly was I doing with my arms?
We were about to go to the island, and three of us were already in the boat. And then Lindsey said she had to go. After she left, I waited a few minutes to see if anyone else would come (they didn’t). So the three of us went on to the island anyway.
We then returned to Forest and sold our catches. After a few minutes, I decided to end the party shortly before midnight. Just as I was saying goodbye, I spotted Wendy and Daisy sitting on my bench.
I’ll be back with more tomorrow. Have a great weekend, everyone! And happy birthday, Squishy!
