Late last night, I went over to Wendy’s town for a short visit. She let me see her new outdoor chair (a public works project). I told her she should dress up as a surgeon and it would look like she’s operating on me.
Then today, it was raining in Forest. Kidd wasn’t very happy about that.
Big Top again tried to move out of town! No way! I don’t care if you do want to join the circus, it’s not happening! They’d only pay you in peanuts anyway.
When I spoke to Teddy, he kept talking about kisses and sour fruit. I didn’t know where this conversation was headed, but I tried to end it as soon as I could.
I then took my scenic painting up to Blathers at the museum. Even though I was expecting it to be a fake, it was actually real! I’ve been having good luck with art pieces lately. Well, aside from all the paintings I’ve bought from Rolf.
Wendy came over for a visit and we hung out in my town for a while. When I talked to Tabby, she told me that she’s drenched. Probably because her umbrella appeared to have no top! Look how the leaves went right through it!
Wendy then invited me back to her town to see her newest project, a geyser. Wow, I am so jealous! I want one!
Later in the evening, I returned to my own town to finish up my daily tasks. I worked a shift at the cafe, where Kidd asked me for the usual. Of course, he had not been to my cafe before, so I had to guess what he wanted. I was completely wrong, and he didn’t like it at all.
I ran into Tabby again, and she was telling me she wanted to huddle under her umbrella with someone. It’s sure not going to be me!
And over by my wind turbine, I saw the first signs of grass regrowth! It was right along the edge of the cliff. There weren’t even any flowers in that spot.
After getting fossils identified at the museum, I finished up my day by updating my dream town at the Dream Suite.

Crazy Redd had a tent set up today, so I went inside to see what he had to offer. I ended up buying a scenic painting from him. However, I wasn’t very familiar with most of the paintings he had today. So I’m not feeling very confident this time.
Back outside, Canberra asked for a new catchphrase. I was feeling sarcastic, so I had her say this:
Someone asked me to make a delivery to Kidd…but I couldn’t find him around town anywhere! I even started going around to animals’ houses in case he was visiting someone. When I went in Tabby’s house, she indeed had a visitor. But it was Rolf, not Kidd. And he was standing by her bed, while she was staring out the window next to her shower.
When I talked to her, she offered me 3,000 bells for my angelfish. Where did she get that kind of money all of a sudden?
I continued my search for Kidd. The only house left to search was Molly’s, but he wasn’t in there. Molly was busy alphabetizing her kitchen utensils. 😮 OCD much?
My search for Kidd led me to the museum, where I searched every single room. I even went back to town and checked the beach, but he wasn’t there either! Clearly he’s been Kidd-napped.
He rewarded me with a five-ball tee. Seriously? I walked fifteen miles to find you and all I got was this lousy T-shirt?
I went over to T.I.Y. to see if it could be ordered again. Thankfully, it can.
I decided to put mine in my back room, next to my neon sign that advertises just such a drink.
A bit later, I ran into Teddy. He asked if I visited him while he was sick. He was sick?? Oops.
And Rolf asked me for some fruit for his dessert. I grabbed a peach for him. He liked it so much that he almost forgot how to speak.
He gave me a racer 6 tee as a reward; I didn’t care for it. But then I went to meet Rolf’s new neighbor, Kidd the goat. He actually seems pretty nice.
Back out in the rain, I ran into Teddy again. He asked for a new greeting and I had him say “I like the honey.”
And Aurora was telling me how her feet were all soaked and wrinkly. I did not need to know that.
I saw Katie standing in the rain, wanting to go to another town. To be nice for a change, I decided to help her out. I checked for open gates, and Rodney’s gate was open. But I kept getting error messages when I tried to visit. And when I tried again later, no gates were open. Sorry, Katie.
And after my shopping run for the day, I headed up to the Happy Homes Showcase. A new SpotPass home was there, belonging to Chiko from ToriTori. “Eggs everywhere,” she says.
I went in her house, and WOW, she was not kidding. Eggs everywhere, indeed!
She’s going to have her hands full when all of those eggs hatch and she has to take care of all those Yoshis!
I’d like to think all of these alien wheat field rooms were inspired by my ACCF Wi-Fi Moments #14 video from 2009. (The scene in question starts at the 0:27 mark in the video below).
