Rolf’s Pic

Outside the cafe today, Rolf pinged me. He suggested a new public works project, a zen bench.

Rolf: You should talk about funding a zen bench!I wasn’t sure what it looked like, so I went to town hall to take a look.

Zen bench: 52,800 bells. That’s a bench? It looks more like a table you’d set your crystal ball on. I have no interest in putting that in my town.

I continued around town to water my flowers. Still no sign of snow, but I’m hoping it starts falling soon. At the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Kiera from Dobutsu was my most recent dream visitor.

When I returned to town, Rolf was hungry and asked for some fruit. I gave him a perfect pear I got from Tiffiny a few weeks ago (I’ve been saving them specifically for moments like this when villagers ask for fruit).

Rolf: ...Yum! This is MAD tasty! He loved it! He said it was “mad tasty” and he gave me exactly what I was hoping for…

Rolf: Rolf's pic is my way of showing appreciation! There! Consider yourself thanked!…Rolf’s pic! Finally! I’ve been trying to get this for months! I quickly put it in my house on my table. I know I need to replace my spooky furniture set in my main room sometime soon, although I plan on keeping the creepy set in the back room for a while still.

Rolf's pic on my table, next to Molly's pic.Rolf’s favorite quote is on the back: “Don’t skip lunch. Ever.”

Quote on Rolf's pic: Don't skip lunch. Ever.Big Top invited me over to his house at 5:30, so I went over for a visit. I hung around for a while, although these visits are quite boring, to be honest. But I’m hoping he sends me a good reward in the mail. I think I’m really overdue to get his pic, so we’ll see how lucky I am tomorrow.

After that, I made a quick trip out to the island. The hide-and-seek tour was available, so I gave it a try. I found all four animals with just over two minutes remaining. That was good enough for a silver Tortimer award and six medals.

Ruby: Awww! You found me!
