Friday Tours

Today, Tia asked me for some fruit. I gave her a perfect pear and she rewarded me with…a homework set? That’s not a fair trade at all! Give me that pear back!

Tia: I'm so satisfied! Here. I'll give you my homework set as my way of saying thank you.Remember the gallant statue I bought from Redd yesterday?

Looking at the butt.I got it back in the mail today from Crazy Redd. I didn’t know if it was real or fake, but I was determined to get to the bottom of it. In fact, I was on the edge of my seat. So I went to Re-Tail and I had Reese check if it was real; it was anything but. Come to think of it, when Redd sold it to me, he did have a cheeky grin on his face.

Reese: Oh no! If you look very closely at it, you can see it's a fake!People assume I don’t know about the assortment of Crazy Redd guides to assess his works of art. But I assure you, my assignment is to assemble my art gallery without associating with outside assistance. Plus, I’m as stubborn as…a donkey.

Back outside, Tia told me she had a dream about Vanessa from Paradise.

Tia: I had a very strange dream about someone called Vanessa from Paradise. And down on the beach, Gulliver was passed out. He’s headed to Canada, so I should get a gift from up north tomorrow.

Gulliver: I never get seasick! The rocking feels as if it was my own mother rocking me to sleep. At 10:00, I opened my gate for Friday Night Forest. Squishy came over about 10:05, Taylor came over at 10:15, and T. Zelda came over about 10:20. So my town filled up, but in slow motion. Squishy, Taylor, and I were doing the stump glitch. But when Squishy threw some beans, she pushed herself out. She continued throwing beans to feed me.

Glitching with beans. Then Taylor was sitting on the stump, doing some emotions. He looked seasick here.

A seasick Taylor sits on a stump. And no night in Forest is complete without a hammer fight.

Attacking each other with toy hammers. And yet, there was still an element of surprise. At least we didn’t have to exclaim to get our point across.

The four of us using the surprise emotion. After that, we went out to the island to go on a few tours. We started with a dragonfly catching tour.

Jeff: Yay! A darn dragonfly! We also went on a scavenger hunt and a diving tour.

Doing well on the diving tour. After that, T. Zelda had to go, so we headed back to Forest and she left for the night. Squishy tried feeding ducks at my pond, but Molly wasn’t even around.

Squishy throws beans into the pond. Before long, Squishy also had to go, so I ended the session for the night.

Teddy is moving out on Sunday, so if anyone wants him, contact me on Youtube, Facebook, or Tumblr please. People that are already on my roster will get the first chance at him. But if none of them ask for him, I’ll offer him to anyone else who asks about him (in the order they contacted me). Just make sure you have an open spot in your town (fewer than 10 villagers) and make sure you’re able to play Sunday evening, eastern U.S. time.

One Sick Goat

Crazy Redd had a tent set up in town today, so I went inside to see what he had for sale. I already had three of the items on display, so I bought this gallant statue at the rear of the tent. I hope it’s not broken! It looks like I see a crack.

Redd: I see! Ya seem to be really close to that gallant statue, yeah? When I went in to visit Kidd, he told me he was sick and out of medicine.

Kidd: Huff...huff... If I never get over this illness...please take care of all the flowers in Forest for me...I had a gem rock instead of a money rock today, which was clearly evident to anyone that went in Re-Tail.

Lots of ore for sale in the flea market at Re-Tail.I also had enough gold nuggets to put Cyrus to work. He made me this golden bed I didn’t need.

Take home the golden bed? After circling around town, I went up to Main Street. Luna told me Autumn from Hyrule was my most recent dream visitor. And in the Emporium, I looked through my catalog for a new shirt to wear. I decided to order this checkerboard tee; it was one of my favorite shirts in the GameCube game.

Checkerboard tee: 340 bells.A bit later, Hollie came over to buy a perfect peach from me. Tom also stopped over. By the way, if you haven’t visited my dream town lately (dream address 4300-2003-9889), I now have some balloons and a pinwheel (or two?) near my town tree, in addition to the toy hammer. I try to leave a few things there for the dreamers to play around with.

Hollie, Jeff, and Tom.After a few minutes, Hollie had to go. I ended the party and went to Tom’s town for a bit. His friends Jules and Emolga also joined in. Tom and Emolga were playing with their tweeters, doing some glitches. I only had a net, so I had trouble keeping up with them. (Net glitching takes longer). But once Tom saved the game and killed Emolga and himself, we were back on equal footing. I then glitched onto the train station with Emolga.

Standing on the train station with Emolga. But we weren’t up there long, because Tom just loves killing people. And say they Jeff is a killer!

Tom killed me.After a while, I had to go and I turned off the game for a while.

But later on, I remembered I never got medicine for Kidd! And of course, by that time, the store was already closed. But I did my usual trick: I purposely got stung by a bee. The first three animals I spoke to didn’t give me any medicine. But when I went to visit Kidd, he did give me some! Even though he specifically said earlier that he was out of medicine. So I just handed the medicine right back to him. Mission accomplished.

Returning a Lost Book

I made a quick visit to Kathryn’s dream town, and I ate a famous mushroom while standing next to her illuminated arch. I like how (dream) Kathryn looked up at me as I grew.

Giant-sized Jeff next to an illuminated arch.Back in my town, I found a lost item on the ground.

A lost item on the ground. Before long, I went over to Tom’s town to take his wrestler’s tank to him. His friends Noah and Tokyo also came to visit, and they were both dressed the same.

Noah and Tokyo: Twins?Tom ended the session after just a few minutes, and I was back in Forest. I spoke with Agent S, and she was telling me how her life is like a detective show.

Agent S: My life is sorta like a detective show, you know. I saw Rolf drop a ballpoint pen...She thinks Rolf was acting suspiciously, so she’s going to keep an eye on him.

Agent S: That seemed pretty suspicious! I'm going to keep a close eye on our sneaky neighbor, superhero!I kept talking to Agent S several more times. She told me she thinks she’s destined to become best friends with Jessica. I didn’t believe her, because she said the same thing about KimĀ on Monday! Then, she said that she met Muriel from Brixham in a weird dream last night. Luna later confirmed that Muriel was my most recent dream visitor. When I eventually stopped bugging Agent S, I found a tent over at the campsite. Joey was inside.

Joey: Hey! Are you from this town? I'm here camping! It felt like deja vu, since Joey also camped in my town justĀ two months ago!

Over by the town tree, I saw Teddy. He told me that he’s going to move out of town on March 30th.

Teddy: Everyone always expects me to be Mr. Positive. But what if I just feel like being moody sometimes?Even though I like Teddy a lot, I decided to let him go. I think Forest needs to have some villager movement to keep things interesting. It’s possible I could change my mind before then, though. We’ll see.

Anyway, I eventually found that the lost book belonged to Big Top. But my reward for returning it was just a green-bar tee. I hate when they give you clothes as a reward. Well, at least it’s not stationery half the time like it was on GameCube.

Big Top: ...Hey! This is my book! See, I wrote my name on the back! When I saw Agent S again, she was talking about dance moves. She said if she learned how to walk on hot lava, it would put some pep in her step. That may be true, but you also might be left with stumps instead of feet.

Agent S: Yeah, I think I'm going to learn how to walk on hot lava! That should put some pep in my step, superhero.Big Top later asked me for some furniture. I had just the thing for him! What elephant doesn’t need a trunk?

Big Top: Oh! A trunk!
