Cally moved in today, so I went in to say hello. She told me she moved from a town called Wubbaton. Wubba dubba dub, is that true?
Her eyes make it look like she’s always looking up at a bug on the ceiling.
It was raining in town tonight again; that’s a good thing. It’s not officially the rainy season yet, but it might as well be. The rain has been pretty frequent the past week or so. Anyway, Rolf told me I was the second-manliest dude in town. And then he called me “Number Two!” Excuse me? You better wipe that grin off your face!
Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Ashlynn from Sandiego was my most recent dream visitor.
When I went down to the beach, I saw something large and round…and at first glance, I wasn’t sure what I was looking at!
It turned out to be Kabuki holding an umbrella. When he’s facing away from the “camera,” his body is completely hidden from view.
After a quick trip out to the island, Jeff ended his session for the day. But I wasn’t done just yet! Due to my storage filling up with all these non-orderable items (like the newspaper helmet), I decided it was time to make a second character!
Actually it’s not the first time I’ve made additional characters. If you were reading this blog in 2013, you may remember that I once had characters named Dude and Dudette. But I only used them as models for my hair guide. Once I completed my guide, I deleted those characters. But my new character is here to stay.
I wanted to put his house near the police station…but with Agent S’s house there, it wouldn’t fit. So I put it just north of there, close to my face-cutout standee. My new character’s name? Say hello to Booker.
After Tom Nook pitched a tent for me, I went back to Isabelle to seal the deal. Booker is now officially a Forest resident!
When I went back up to Nook Homes, Tom Nook told me I owed him 10,000 bells; he also went on about how generous he is.
I tried to pay him 100 bells that I got from a tree, but he insisted he needed the full 10 grand in one lump sum. I’ll give you a lump, you punk.
I have some plans for Booker and his house, but it may take a while to complete. I’ll see you all next time.
Over at the campsite, Nana the pink monkey was camping in a tent. I’ve had her in my ACCF town before, but I had no interest in asking her to move in.
Just south of the event plaza, I was shocked when I saw a new house plot! My shock turned to horror when I realized that Cally the squirrel was moving in!
She must have come from a StreetPass tag I got yesterday. Quite disappointing. The only good thing was the house placement. It’s near my zen garden and right along my path.
Over by my western bridge, Daisy told me she’s already planning on moving out on May 3rd! She’s only lived here a couple of weeks and she already wants out? I hope Cally gives me that option after two weeks too. But Daisy is staying.
Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Jetix from Jirachi was my most recent dream visitor. It’s not often you see two J names together, unless you’re Judy Jetson…or JVGS Jeff.
I finished my night with a pros-only bug tour on the island. I easily caught the 10 bugs I needed to earn a gold Tortimer award and 12 medals.
Cally will be moving in tomorrow, so I’ll be back with another entry then. Have a good day, everyone!
Now through May 9th, a newsprint helmet is available at Nintendo Zone locations. It was previously only available in the Japanese version of the game (Jump Out).
I paid a visit to Daisy, and I was surprised to find Kabuki was visiting her. Cats and dogs getting along?! What is this??
Daisy reminded me that I gave her medicine while she was sick (you think I don’t remember?) and she gave me a polka-dot chair to thank me.
It was raining in town tonight, which was fine by me. I found a lost item in the grass.
Merka needed to collect some signatures for a Power-Somersaulting Class petition, so I opened my gate for her. She looked taller than I remembered…
I asked Dizzy about the lost item, and amazingly, it was his! Got it on the first try!
He rewarded me with a stadiometer.
Unfortunately, it cannot be ordered from the catalog.
