I got a letter from Rolf, thanking me for the medicine I took him while he was sick. He’s felling better now, and he sent me a tie-dye tee.
This morning, Re-Tail was buying turnips for 109 bells each. I was afraid I was going to lose money again (like I did last week), so I sold about half of my turnips. But in the afternoon, the price jumped up to 158 bells and I sold the remainder of my turnips for a modest profit.
I put my money into the bank, and my balance topped 42 million bells.
Today was Sprinkle’s last day in town, so I went in to say goodbye to her. But she was more interested in telling me how she’s a superstar with many fans.
Beth from Polly told me she wanted Sprinkle, so I invited her over. She went to Sprinkle’s house, but left the house before Sprinkle agreed to move in. I told her she may need to talk to Sprinkle again, but Beth took off and went roaming around town, showing no interest in taking Sprinkle…despite that being the sole reason I let her come over in the first place. Once I lost track of her and had no idea what she was doing, I disconnected.
I tried to find someone else to take Sprinkle, and eventually Merka agreed to take her. She also had some turnips to sell; I tried releasing some moths on her when she would come out of the store.
And Sprinkle is now a resident of Bribs.
Gulliver was down on the beach, talking about pyramids, pharaohs, and mummies. Clearly, he was headed to Egypt.
The island had the giant dragonfly tour today, which is one of the best tours. I went on it several times alone, and then later, I did several more with Merka. I earned a bunch of easy medals today.
Have a good weekend, everyone!
Over by the video screen, I found a lost item on the ground. I was hoping it didn’t belong to Sprinkle, because I’m purposely avoiding her. She’s supposed to move out tomorrow, and I’m not about to risk changing her mind.
But I found that the item belonged to Cally. I forget what reward she gave me, but thankfully it wasn’t her picture.
I headed up to Main Street, and Luna told me that Chris from Alitura was my most recent dream visitor. And in the post office, I checked to see if there was a new DLC item, and Pelly handed me the Gemini closet.
Many regions of the world already got this last year, but it’s new to America. It can be ordered from the catalog for 4,800 bells.
And of course, I finished up my day with another trip out to the island. The pros-only bug hunt earned me 12 medals.
I’ll be back with another entry tomorrow, as I say goodbye to Sprinkle. Hannah and Cailin have expressed interest in adopting Sprinkle, but I’m not sure if they’ll be able to take her tomorrow or not. If not, I’ll be looking for someone else to take Sprinkle tomorrow night. Please contact me if you’re interested in being an alternate penguin adopter.
But he went ahead and gulped it down. Or maybe he gulped it up as he flipped upside down.
Up at the Emporium, I decided to see which of Gracie’s clothing items I still needed for my catalog. It turns out I needed everything that she had on sale today! So I bought it all out.
I was long overdue to change my town tune, so I changed it to the Metroid power-up jingle. I’ve used this as my ACCF town tune before, but I’m not sure if I’ve used it in New Leaf or not.
I think Isabelle was glad to hear something different for a change.
I finished up my evening with a boat trip out to the island (as I often do). I went on a bug hide-and-seek tour, which earned me 15 medals.
