When I started up the game today, I saw something surprising: a double rainbow! Believe it or not, this is the first time I’ve seen a double rainbow in my own town! I have seen them in dream towns before (including Mark’s), and “in person” in Merka’s town once. But here is Forest’s first double rainbow, as seen from my western bridge.

Before doing my daily tasks around town, I went up to the Dream Suite to update my dream. So if you visit before I update my dream again, you can see it for yourself! My dream address is 4300-2003-9889.
Down by the river, Hamlet told me that he was planning on moving out of town on October 18th. I thought about it, but I didn’t want to let him go just yet.
Julian was also nearby, so I had a chat with him as well. He said that he’d like someone to see a rainbow reflected in his eyes, so they could see two rainbows at once.
One other small change I’ve made to my town for Halloween: I’ve put some black and orange roses in front of the metal bench in my central park.

By the way, Nintendo has just released Animal Crossing Wild World for the Wii U Virtual Console today in the American eShop! (It has already been released in other regions). But I predict a Wild World Blog will appear later tonight! 😉
There was also a three-person face-cutout standee for Explorer’s Day. I grabbed the front spot and took hold of the map. Meanwhile, a treasure chest looked through its telescope, and the border of my town tree waved goodbye…to its lunch.

Beth and I got some coffee and sat on the bench. Then I stood up and released a butterfly on her head.
Today (Saturday) was the first fishing tournament of the season. I played too late in the day to participate (as usual), but a message on the bulletin board told me that Big Top was the big winner.
Since it’s October 8th now, the Roost is back on its normal schedule for employees. However, I was still unable to work because of the fishing tournament. But tomorrow, at last, we can work again!
