I got Kabuki’s goodbye letter in the mail yesterday, and he sent me his picture too. It’s sad to see him go.
I also received a letter from a now-healthy Molly. She thanked me for the medicine when she was sick, and she sent me a rugby tee.
I got a New 3DS XL yesterday, and I’m happy to report that everything transferred over flawlessly. My New Leaf town is still intact, my friend code is the same and my roster intact, and I haven’t encountered any problems. For pictures and more info about my new system, see my New 3DS XL impressions on Jeff’s Gaming Blog.
Croque was camping out at the campsite, and I actually had room to invite someone in now that Kabuki is gone. But Croque was not someone I was interested in.
Saharah was in town tonight, with her usual offer to install new carpet and wallpaper for 3,000 bells. I took her up on the offer, and she put in a blue-trim wall and sci-fi floor. Not a very logical combination.
As soon as I changed my wallpaper and carpet back, Molly barged in for an unexpected visit. What a plucky duck.
I just stood there for a minute, until she decided to leave. She thanked me for being such a lovely host, which was almost surely sarcastic.
Remember Kaylee from the other day? I visited her dream town Wander tonight (dream address 4700-4655-7319). Even though it was raining, I enjoyed my visit…including a picnic!
It’s a very pretty town, so wander on over if you’re looking for a new dream town to visit.

When I woke up from my dream, I had a nightmare! I saw Dotty on Main Street! Now that Kabuki is gone, that freed up a spot for my former villager Dotty to appear on Main Street. (Just kidding about it being a nightmare, Dotty).

She gave me two baskets of perfect cherries. My villagers will be sure to enjoy them. Thanks, Kaylee! I hope you enjoy the items.
Unfortunately, I got some bad news today. Kabuki was all packed up in boxes, ready to move out–without warning! (Cats do like boxes). I wanted to keep Kabuki around longer, although it could have been worse, I suppose.
Outside, Rolf asked me for an orange. I gave him a perfect one I had attached to a letter. He loved it, and he “rewarded” me with a lovely doll.
After updating my dream town, Luna told me that Kaylee from Wander was my most recent dream visitor. Yes, that’s the same Kaylee. 😛
In my mailbox, I also had a letter from Gulliver. He sent me a tapestry from Peru.
After connecting to a “Nintendo Zone location,” I asked Pelly about the new download. She handed me a dango.
Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Was it a cross between a durian and a mango? Nope. Apparently, it’s a sweet Japanese dumpling. Good thing I looked it up, because I would have guessed that it was an inside-out birdhouse with eggs stacked on top.
Isabelle gave me a flower bopper for the occasion.
Tom was dropping a bunch of fountain fireworks, and it almost looked like all of Tomville was on fire! 😛
Jules and I sat down at Tom’s town tree to look at Tomville’s history. Tom was setting off some fireworks, and at one point, something he was burning seemed to set his tree on fire! It was pretty cool.
Tom ended the session after a while, and I returned to Forest. Up at my Dream Suite, Luna told me that Cynthia from Duwang was my most recent dream visitor. Thanks for visiting!
