Leapfrogging 40 Million

This morning, I was happy to find that Reese was paying 539 bells for turnips! I sold my entire stash for a total of 1,670,900 bells.

Reese: Currently, I'm buying each turnip for 539 bells.I dropped off some money for Booker’s next house payment (although he hasn’t picked it up just yet), and then I put the rest in my bank account at the post office. My balance leapfrogged the 40 million mark and topped 41 million as well.

Your current balance is 41,420,000 bells.Later on this evening, I found Gulliver down on the beach. He was talking about castles and princesses and sausage; turns out he’s headed to Germany. He’ll be sending me a gift from there tomorrow.

Gulliver: Someday I plan on finding a sweet princess of my own and living with her in one of those castles.
Sorry. Your princess is in another castle.

While I was on the eastern beach, I saw a silver slingshot flying by on balloons. I went up the ramp and hit it down with my net.

Using my net to smack a silver slingshot balloon out of the sky.Daisy asked me for a butterfly, and I agreed to help her out. I found a peacock butterfly flying by, so I caught it and took it back to her. She thanked me by giving me a kiddie clock.

Daisy: It's a real peacock butterfly! Thank you!I picked up a pitfall seed from the lost and found at the police station, and I used it when I ran into Cally. Welcome to Forest.

Cally, while in a pitfall: Someone help me!The NBA playoffs are underway, and I decided to make a Cavs flag logo design. If you’ve followed my ACCF coverage, you may have seen it in my blog or my town tour video. Go Cavs!

My Cavs logo flag on town hall.I’ve added two versions of the pattern (one with a white background and one with a black background) to the QR Codes Page.

Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Brad from Haven was my most recent dream visitor.

There probably won’t be a blog entry tomorrow (unless something major happens, like a villager moving out without warning), but I’ll be back with another entry on Friday. Remember, Friday is Friday Night Forest, so I’ll be opening my gate around 10:00 p.m. Eastern time. However, I may only stay on for about an hour this time. But it should be fun regardless. See you then!

Saving Agent S

Big Top was enjoying the nice weather we had in Forest today. He took advantage of it by eating snacks and taking naps. Incidentally, those are the same things he would be doing indoors.

Big Top: I mean, that's pretty much what I do at home anyway, but doing it outside makes it feel special!Aurora was at the pond, holding a fishing rod. She told me that if she just waited there for a long time, she’ll catch something. Yeah, good luck with that.

Aurora: I read in a book that if you just wait patiently like this, you're sure to catch something.Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Katrine from Poobrain was my most recent dream visitor. Interesting town name. I guess it’s good that her name is Katrine instead of Latrine.

Luna: According to the latest feedback, a client named Katrine from Poobrain enjoyed your dream.Down on the beach, I blew some dandelion puffs into the ocean from whence they came.

Blowing dandelion puffs into the ocean. The island had the tuna-kahuna tour today! I went on five tours, earning another 100 medals today. There was still no sign of Phineas when I returned, though. I think he’s avoiding me.

Tortimer: WHOA! You're a master angler! You've earned a Gold Tortimer award and 20 medals! And when I returned to Forest, Agent S told me springtime was the time for her to bloom on out of town. Naturally, I told her she was nuts and I made her change her mind. Just because it’s spring doesn’t mean you can bounce.

Agent S: It's springtime, cookie. And that means it's time for ME to bloom, in my tail!

A Hundred Medals

It was another rainy day in Forest, and Dizzy was happy that he didn’t have to shower today. Uh, I don’t think a few raindrops do much for elephant pits.

Dizzy: The only good thing about rain is that you can skip a shower that day.I took a boat ride out to the island this evening. No tuna-kahuna tour today, but there was another tour that’s just as good: The giant-dragonfly tour. You have to catch ten large dragonflies (banded dragonflies or petaltails) in seven minutes to earn a whopping 20 medals.

Tortimer: That's enough to net you a Gold Tortimer award and 20 medals!I went on the tour five times, scoring a total of 100 medals on the day! I then returned to Forest; Kapp’n was telling me that he has a life raft in his shell.

Kapp'n: If we hit a big rock, I'll be just fine 'cause I got a life raft in this shell o' mine, in this shell o' mine!I really, really, really wish there was some kind of progress indicator that told us how close we are to earning new badges.

Anyway, I went into Re-Tail and saw Rolf was in there (along with Reese and Cyrus, of course). I was going through my emotions to see how they all reacted. I was making them all dance the Shrunk Funk Shuffle for a while.

Dancing the Shrunk Funk Shuffle with Reese and Cyrus.Reese and Rolf were getting a bit close, but Cyrus didn’t seem to mind.

Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Mika from Alanta was my most recent dream visitor.
