Yesterday, I headed over to Merka’s town Bribs to sell my turnips (her Re-Tail was paying 126 bells apiece for them). I also briefly met Pepper there; she was buying Whitney from Merka.
This morning, I bought a new batch of turnips here in Forest. Joan was selling them for 102 bells each.
I made a trip out to the island and went on an advanced price-fishing tour. I caught 46,740 bells worth of fish, which earned me a gold Tortimer award and 12 medals.
Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Ozzie from New Bark was my most recent dream visitor.
As for Booker, he now has a house. Isabelle stopped by to give me some wallpaper, a paw-print wall.
And my mom sent me a pine table in the mail, so here’s a look at both of Booker’s possessions.
When I went up to Nook Homes, Tom Nook told me I now owe him 39,800 bells. I don’t plan on fully expanding Booker’s house, but I will upgrade it at least once. Beyond that, I’ll just wait and see how things go.
Yesterday was my town’s two-year anniversary. Whether you’ve been here from the beginning or not, I appreciate all of you who read this blog. Thank you very much. If you’d like to re-live my first moments in New Leaf, here’s a video that shows when I first get off the train and arrive in Forest.
Booker was also happy that he would have his own house.
Later on, Jeff found the entrance to the Reset Center open.
I used the voice recognition system to send Resetti scrambling. So long, Sonny!
Tonight, Merka came over to collect signatures for a petition. She sure seems to get a lot of these things. They’ve all been for Sly, too!
Saharah was in town, and I paid her for some new wallpaper and carpet. She put in this music-room wall and classroom floor.
And up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Emily from Emily was my most recent dream visitor! I guess that makes it easy to answer questions when the answer to everything is Emily.
By the way, yesterday’s dream visitor was Echo from Tickputt. I’m getting some interesting dreamers lately!
Her eyes make it look like she’s always looking up at a bug on the ceiling.
It was raining in town tonight again; that’s a good thing. It’s not officially the rainy season yet, but it might as well be. The rain has been pretty frequent the past week or so. Anyway, Rolf told me I was the second-manliest dude in town. And then he called me “Number Two!” Excuse me? You better wipe that grin off your face!
Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Ashlynn from Sandiego was my most recent dream visitor.
It turned out to be Kabuki holding an umbrella. When he’s facing away from the “camera,” his body is completely hidden from view.
After Tom Nook pitched a tent for me, I went back to Isabelle to seal the deal. Booker is now officially a Forest resident!
When I went back up to Nook Homes, Tom Nook told me I owed him 10,000 bells; he also went on about how generous he is.
I tried to pay him 100 bells that I got from a tree, but he insisted he needed the full 10 grand in one lump sum. I’ll give you a lump, you punk.
I have some plans for Booker and his house, but it may take a while to complete. I’ll see you all next time.
