Tuesday (May 2nd) was my town’s anniversary, and Isabelle kidnapped me!

She dragged me over to the plaza for an anniversary event. Porter, Jeremiah, and Hornsby were also there. Happy 10th birthday, Forest! 🙂

On Wednesday, Cherry asked me to bury a time capsule for her.

I’ll try not to dig this one up early. 😉 I even put a pattern on the ground next to the spot, to remind me not to dig there. 😛

Cube was talking about how the Sphinx was always sitting in the same position.

He said it should get up and move around to get its blood flowing. I think it has sand for blood. 😛

Yesterday, Inkwell said that he could probably fit four people on his sloppy sofa…even if we’d be squeezed in like sardines in a can.

Today, I made a penguin-to-penguin delivery from Cube to Aurora. She rewarded me by giving me her photo (it’s obviously not the first time, since she’s been here ten years now). 😉

Jeremiah asked me for a butterfly, so I grabbed an emperor penguin butterfly out of my dock box. He thanked me and rewarded me with an upright vacuum. I later gave that vacuum to Aurora when she asked me for some furniture. Guess what she gave me in return? Her photo again! Twice in one day!!!

Meanwhile, I’ve been waiting forever for pictures from Inkwell, Cube, Cherry, and Jeremiah. Especially Inkwell and Cube, who moved here in 2020 and 2021, respectively. Oof.

On a brighter note, cute little Molly asked me to join her on the metal bench tonight. She’s so adorable.

On Tuesday, Jeremiah told me that he loves seafood…but he would never eat his pet turtle. I wouldn’t expect a frog to like seafood in the first place.

A bit later, a bank deposit resulted in my account balance reaching 125 million bells.

On Wednesday, Cherry asked me to play a game of hide-and-seek. I agreed, and she gave me 15 minutes to find her, Cube, and Hornsby. It took me less than three minutes to find them all: Hornsby was near the video screen, Cube was behind Jeremiah’s house, and Cherry hid behind Rolf’s house.

She rewarded me with a breaker for winning the game.

Today is the last Friday of April, which means that it’s Weeding Day. I found Leif at the event plaza.

Since I didn’t have any weeds that needed pulling, he just rewarded me with another violet screen as the Town Cleanup Prize. Meanwhile, the gardening corner at T&T Emporium sat empty for the day.

My villagers were also talking about Weeding Day, saying they’re going to help out. 😛

But I wonder if Cherry was a bit confused…

Late on April 10th, I managed to snap a photo of the early-April pink trees (and falling cherry blossom petals) before they disappeared hours later.

On Monday, Cherry was visiting Inkwell at the same time that I was. I chatted with both of them until they were sick of me. They both had their thought bubbles above their heads at the same time. Wow, they must’ve really hated me. 😆

On Tuesday, Rolf asked me to bury a time capsule for him. I did, but unfortunately, my battery later died before I could save the game. So it’s like that (or anything else I did in that session) never happened. Oops.

But that made me decide to do something else I’ve been putting off for years: I gave Aurora back her time capsule that I accidentally dug up too early back in 2020!. She never asked for it back! But she was happy to have it in her possession again, and she gave me the li’l bro’s tee that was inside.

Yesterday, Eunice the sheep was camping at the campsite. She’s nice (it’s in her name!), but I wasn’t interested in adopting her. And of course, my town is full anyway.

Gulliver was in town, and he was talking about flamenco dancers and matadors. He was headed to Spain.

Today, he sent me a Gaudi’s lizard in the mail. Boots immediately wanted it, and he asked me to trade it for a dawn tank. He threatened to bite me, so I didn’t have much choice in the matter. 😉

I found a lost item on the ground, and I returned to it to Cube. He said that he has been keeping his cheesecake in it! He then gave me an editor’s desk to thank me for returning the bag. But he didn’t even offer me a piece of the cheesecake! 😉
