Today I was able to give away those three balloons I mentioned the other day. I dropped them off at Amanda’s town SkyFall. Congrats again, Amanda. I hope you enjoy the balloons!

After making my rounds, I went up to the Dream Suite to update my dream town. Luna told me that Brayden from Cruzan was my most recent dream visitor.

Unfortunately, I kept falling on my face. It was another bad luck day for me.

But now that I’m not on the night owl ordinance any more, Katrina closes up shop at 7 p.m.! That’s crazy! Fortune-telling should be a nighttime profession!

Octavian asked me to catch a koi for him, and I told him I would. But I was having lots of trouble finding one. I circled the river at least five or six times trying to catch one, and I nearly gave up. But then I ran into Octavian again, and he started talking about macaroni and cheese.

He kept going on and on until he made both of us hungry!

That conversation must’ve been a good luck charm somehow, because the very next fish I caught was a koi!

I gave it to Octavian and he thanked me by slipping me his sleek clock. I think I’d rather have some macaroni and cheese.

This morning, Reese was buying turnips for a whopping 577 bells apiece! I sold my 3,000 turnips for a total of 1,731,000 bells! Nice!

When I put that money into my bank account, my balance topped 25 million bells.

As I made my walk around town, Aurora asked about my Gaudi’s lizard. She asked to buy it for 300 bells, and I sealed the deal.

Out by the river, Octavian was fishing.

After I worked a shift at the Roost, I spoke with him again. He asked me for an orange, so I gave him a perfect one. He loved it, and he rewarded me with a tatami bed.

My turnip prices dropped to 191 in the afternoon, but that’s still a pretty good price. I told Meli about it, and she came over to sell her turnips.

After I ended the session, I went up to the Dream Suite. Luna told me that Nerina from Gardenia was my most recent dream visitor. I took a preliminary visit to a dream town that I plan on featuring in a Dream Suite Adventure. So look for that sometime soon, perhaps over the weekend.

After that, I went by the Emporium…to find that it was already closed. This is the bad thing about not having a night owl town any more: Stores close waaaaay too early for me. It’s so inconvenient.

Gulliver sent me a shamrock clock in the mail today from Ireland.

A message was posted on the bulletin board confirming that Forest is now a beautiful town and the ordinance is now in effect.

 There was another camper over at the campsite, Freckles the duck. I’ve had her in previous Animal Crossing games, and she’s kind of cute, but I didn’t invite her to move in.

Big Top informed me that he’s on Twitter. Of course, I already knew.

A bit later on, I spoke with Big Top again and he asked me for an apple. I tracked one down for him, and he thanked me by giving me some brown pot.

I went up to the Dream Suite and updated my dream town (before it was completely dark for a change), and Luna told me that Michael from Windfall was my most recent dream visitor.
