I got Gala’s goodbye letter in the mail today. She also included her picture with the letter.
My turnip prices were awful last week, but this week, they’re just ridiculous! They’re falling further every day, and now they’re down to 23 bells! That’s the lowest I ever recall seeing them.
They can’t keep falling forever, though. This has got to be rock-bottom. I’m expecting them to rebound sometime soon…maybe tomorrow? Spikes do seem to come on Thursdays sometimes, so we’ll see.
Outside, Rolf was remembering the days of being a kid, when his mother would reward him for yardwork with some sweet potatoes.
And then he realized his mom would “trick” him into doing yardwork without even being asked.
There was a camper at the campsite, and for once I actually had a spot to ask the villager to move in. However, the camper was Anchovy. He’s kind of cool, but I didn’t really want him in my pizza town.
Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Alrik from Vookie was my most recent dream visitor.
Squishy informed me that her dream town of Cosmic has been updated, so I went to check it out. Rosalina’s house now resembles the ship from Super Mario Galaxy.

Wendy informed me that Oakville’s Re-Tail was buying turnips for 197 bells. I still have a feeling that my turnip price will rebound soon, but to play it safe, I sold half of my turnips in her town. That way I’m guaranteed not to lose any money this week.
I don’t visit Oakville very often any more, but I caught up with Gaston.
Wendy wanted me to visit Eugene (my arch enemy), who recently moved here from Wendy’s other town Pawnee. However, I had no interest in speaking to that slimy punk! I even took it a step further by digging holes around his house to protect everyone from him.
I started to ask Wendy if she wanted to shop in my town, until I realized my stores had just closed. Oops. We hung out for a few minutes and then she ended the session for the night. Thanks for letting me sell turnips, Wendy!
He may have been in a tent, but Gala was in boxes. So to speak. She’s moving out and this is her last day in Forest. So I went to say goodbye to her.
She said she hopes that we 
Saharah was in town today, so I hired her to decorate my house. She installed a regal wall and a basement floor in my main room. Not a good match.
And (much) later on, Wendy came over to talk to Gala and adopt her.
I spoke to Gala again, and she confirmed that she’s moving to Pawnee.
Wendy likes Gala a lot, and she was very happy to take this little piggy all the way home. It was time for the Shrunk Funk Shuffle!
After that, Wendy went up to shop at my stores. I tried on a monster mask at Able Sisters, and Wendy said it was an improvement! How dare her! 😛

There’s also a face-cutout standee for the occasion, so Tom and I boarded Kapp’n’s ship and set sail.
After our short voyage, I continued to water my flowers. Tom was having some router problems, so he didn’t stick around very long.
