Options for Agent S

Soon after starting the game up tonight, Agent S asked me for a butterfly. I told her I’d find one for her.

Outside of the Roost, I met up with Sprinkle. She asked me to make a delivery to Agent S, and I agreed to help her out. But then she made a contradictory statement. She told me to deliver it today, but said I’d probably have to wait until the morning. What?

Sprinkle: Deliver it today, OK? You'll probably have to wait until the morning, though! For the third day in a row, I had a camper at the campsite! But for the third day in a row, I wasn’t interested. Today’s camper was Pashmina the goat.

Pashmina: I'm Pashmina! And you're... Jeff? Nice to meet you!Out by the river, I found a lost item–a book.

A lost item on the ground.I went down to the beach to get Agent S a butterfly from my dock box. But while I was down there, I saw Gulliver. He was talking about going to a country known for matryoshka dolls.

Gulliver: If you pop THAT doll open, you'll find ANOTHER doll!Of course he was headed off to Russia. But his flight there might be shorter than his never-ending explanation of the dolls.

Gulliver: Just how long is this supposed to go on for?!Once I tracked down Agent S, I had quite a few options for her!

Menu options: I've got a bug! - Delivery time! - You drop this? - What's new? - Never mind. The lost item wasn’t hers, but she really seemed to enjoy the emperor butterfly I gave her. She gave me a director’s chair as a reward.

Agent S: Woohoo! Check it out! An emperor butterfly! This is, like, totally perfect. After I was finished with her, I went up to Main Street and updated my dream town. Luna told me Josh from Sundown was my most recent dream visitor. I also checked out a new StreetPass house in the Happy Homes Showcase, and it looks like somebody is all ready for Christmas already!

A Christmas themed house I StreetPassed. My shops were closed, so my visit to Main Street was a short one. I returned to town to continue looking for the owner of the lost book. Over by the gravestone, Molly told me it was hers. She rewarded me with her picture!

Molly: In fact, I'd like to give you a reward. It's not much, but how about my Molly's pic?She also promised to be more responsible with her things from now on, which just sounded ridiculously cute coming from Molly.

Molly: I promise to be more responsible with my things from now on.Unfortunately, she walked the wrong way after we were done talking, and she ended up falling into a grave! Well, actually it was a pitfall seed that Tom buried behind the standee. But I think that ruined poor Molly’s night.

Molly: I'm sorry, but I don't really feel like talking at the moment, waddle.Have a good weekend, everyone!

Sweet Tuna Casserole

My turnip prices rebounded this morning, but not nearly as high as I was hoping.

Reese: Currently, I'm buying each turnip for 126 bells. They were up to 126 bells, but dropped to 107 by the afternoon. After hearing that Wendy’s prices were down today, I went ahead and sold the rest of my turnips for a small profit.

Over at the campsite, Drake the duck was camping out. He seems alright, but I didn’t ask him to move in.

Drake: A huh huh! You gotta eat the local food when you travel, quacko. When I put my turnip money into the bank, my balance topped 24 million bells.

Your current balance is 24,060,000 bells. And at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Jessica from Agrabah was my most recent dream visitor.

Do you know the worst part about having Gala gone? No? Well, neither did I. Until I went into Able Sisters, that is. With Gala’s departure, a new former villager is now eligible to start appearing on Main Street. And that villager is Tabby. What an awful surprise.

Tabby: Wow, sweet tuna casserole!
Just in time for Halloween. But she’s one decoration I could do without.

Once I returned to town, Drago wanted to make an exotic trade. Literally. He gave me his exotic table for my exotic screen.

Drago: So how about trading your exotic screen for my exotic table? As for Friday Night Forest, I’ve decided on a new schedule. FNF is going to be a monthly thing now; I will open my gate on the 2nd Friday of each month at 10pm Eastern U.S. time. However, I will also open for some major holidays, including Halloween. If you’re on my roster, I suggest following me on Twitter and/or Facebook to be notified of any changes, announcements, or reminders.

Rock Bottom Turnip Price

I got Gala’s goodbye letter in the mail today. She also included her picture with the letter.

Gala's goodbye letter. My turnip prices were awful last week, but this week, they’re just ridiculous! They’re falling further every day, and now they’re down to 23 bells! That’s the lowest I ever recall seeing them.

Reese: Currently, I'm buying each turnip for 23 bells. They can’t keep falling forever, though. This has got to be rock-bottom. I’m expecting them to rebound sometime soon…maybe tomorrow? Spikes do seem to come on Thursdays sometimes, so we’ll see.

Outside, Rolf was remembering the days of being a kid, when his mother would reward him for yardwork with some sweet potatoes.

Rolf: You see, when I was a kid, I'd often gather up the leaves around my yard and then eat some sweet potatoes. And then he realized his mom would “trick” him into doing yardwork without even being asked.

Rolf: Some days...I'd help out without even being asked! Hey wait! My mom totally tricked me! Gah!There was a camper at the campsite, and for once I actually had a spot to ask the villager to move in. However, the camper was Anchovy. He’s kind of cool, but I didn’t really want him in my pizza town.

Anchovy: I'm here camping in town, so you'll be seeing me around for a bit!Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Alrik from Vookie was my most recent dream visitor.

Squishy informed me that her dream town of Cosmic has been updated, so I went to check it out. Rosalina’s house now resembles the ship from Super Mario Galaxy.

Wendy informed me that Oakville’s Re-Tail was buying turnips for 197 bells. I still have a feeling that my turnip price will rebound soon, but to play it safe, I sold half of my turnips in her town. That way I’m guaranteed not to lose any money this week.

Reese: Currently, I'm buying each turnip for 197 bells.I don’t visit Oakville very often any more, but I caught up with Gaston.

Gaston: I gotta hand it to you... You really find time to travel, don't you?Wendy wanted me to visit Eugene (my arch enemy), who recently moved here from Wendy’s other town Pawnee. However, I had no interest in speaking to that slimy punk! I even took it a step further by digging holes around his house to protect everyone from him.

Digging holes around Eugene's house.I started to ask Wendy if she wanted to shop in my town, until I realized my stores had just closed. Oops. We hung out for a few minutes and then she ended the session for the night. Thanks for letting me sell turnips, Wendy!
