Copper informed me that an animal set up a tent at the campsite, so I went over to investigate. The camper turned out to be Wolfgang. Shouldn’t he be getting ready for Howloween instead?

He may have been in a tent, but Gala was in boxes. So to speak. She’s moving out and this is her last day in Forest. So I went to say goodbye to her.

She said she hopes that we meat meet again someday. I’m sure we will.

Saharah was in town today, so I hired her to decorate my house. She installed a regal wall and a basement floor in my main room. Not a good match.

And (much) later on, Wendy came over to talk to Gala and adopt her.

I spoke to Gala again, and she confirmed that she’s moving to Pawnee.

Wendy likes Gala a lot, and she was very happy to take this little piggy all the way home. It was time for the Shrunk Funk Shuffle!

After that, Wendy went up to shop at my stores. I tried on a monster mask at Able Sisters, and Wendy said it was an improvement! How dare her! 😛 Even if it’s true. We also talked about Virtual Boy of all things, and then I soon ended the session for the night. Enjoy your new piggy, Wendy!

Today is Explorer’s Day (Columbus Day) in the North American version of Animal Crossing: New Leaf, and Isabelle can be found at the event plaza. She hands out sailboat models to commemorate the occasion.

If you haven’t seen the sailboat model before, this is how it looks:

King Tom doesn’t have Explorer’s Day in jolly ol’ England Tomville, so he came over to get a sailboat model of his own.

There’s also a face-cutout standee for the occasion, so Tom and I boarded Kapp’n’s ship and set sail.

After our short voyage, I continued to water my flowers. Tom was having some router problems, so he didn’t stick around very long.

A bit later on, Octavian randomly offered me a rocket for free. I appreciate the gift, but is there a reason for it? Is he trying to tell me to leave the planet?

Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Jerome from Jedric was my most recent dream visitor.

Joan was selling turnips for 95 bells each this morning. I bought 3,400 of them in total.

Remember the Gaudi’s lizard I gave Big Top for his birthday? Well, guess what I found up for sale in Re-Tail today! He is in big trouble with me now! I feel so betrayed!

Back outside, Drago asked me for a large furniture piece to replace a table of his. I gave him a robo-table, and he seemed to enjoy it. He rewarded me with a bow. At first I thought, a bow for my hair or something? But it’s a bow as in a bow-and-arrow.

Not much else happened today. But Luna told me Amy from the town of St. Amy was my most recent dream visitor.
