It was a nice day in Forest, so I decided to take some pictures from around my town.
I mainly took them for my town page, so click that link to see the rest of them. It includes an updated animated GIF of my video screen.
As I was trying to access my storage, Big Top barged into my house. Ugh, so annoying!
After talking to him a couple times, I just sat on my sofa until he left. I seriously need a “Do Not Disturb” sign on my door.
When I checked my mail, I found that Gulliver sent me samgyetang from South Korea in the mail. It’s basically a bowl of soup, so I don’t know how he shipped it halfway around the world without spilling a drop. I also received a letter from Drago, who sent me this scale-armor suit. Scales? Is he trying to make me look like a dragon too?
Over in the campsite, I found my old ACCF friend Rowan camping out. Even though I like Rowan, I probably wouldn’t have asked him to move in even if I had space for him. I already have Rolf to fulfill my tiger quota.
As I was walking around this evening, I saw a huge dragonfly! I got my net out, and I was able to catch it without much trouble. I’m not sure, but this might actually be my first petaltail of 2014.
And over by my central bridge, Gala pinged me. She told me she’s going to move out of town on October 14th.
Now that I have her picture, I decided to let her go. I’m already planning on giving her to Wendy, though. So I’ll still be able to visit this little piggy in Pawnee.
I have a full write-up of my trip in
I continued watering my flowers, but Madisyn had to go after just a few minutes. When I ran into Gala, she was wondering why she was suddenly so drawn to me. I think this little piggy has a crush on me…
I wondered if it was related to one of Katrina’s charms. I know that in previous Animal Crossing games, receiving a certain fortune would make animals of the opposite gender strongly attracted to you. But by the time I got up to Main Street, Katrina’s shop was already closed for the night. So I couldn’t check for sure, but I’m guessing something I was wearing today was “lucky” and caused the pig’s infatuation.
Just kidding, of course. Gulliver was headed to South Korea, so he’ll be sending me a gift from there tomorrow.
That’s all for tonight, but I’ll be back with more next time. If you haven’t already checked it out, please take a look at my
Octavian was in his house, demanding a cherry from me. I tracked one down for him, and he really enjoyed it. The surprising part was that he gave me a boomerang in return. For some reason, I wasn’t expecting an octopus from the moon to be carrying around a boomerang.
I heard a flea jumping around when I walked past Kidd, so I got my net out and caught it for him.
He was a bit embarrassed, but he offered to be my exterminator sometime! Wait, what?
If anyone is tired of not being able to work at the Roost, the wait is almost over. Tomorrow is October 8th, so you’ll be able to make coffee once again and earn some beans.
