Tom had his gate open when I started up the game today, so I headed over to Tomville for a visit. His friend Goldcity was also there, and it looked like his eyes never opened. But he was just using an uncommon face that I rarely see anyone using.
Tony also came to visit, while I was speaking with Savannah the zebra.
However, Tom noticed some of his flowers were missing, so he disconnected us. He said his flowers returned after the disconnection. He reopened his gate, and I returned. Tom’s friend Jules also came over for a visit, and it was good to see her again.
But after a few minutes, we got disconnected; it was surely an accidental one this time. But at this point, I decided to take a break from the game for a bit.
Later on, I returned to find Saharah in my town. I paid her for some wallpaper and carpet, and she installed this kitschy wall and backyard lawn in my house.
Molly asked me for some furniture, and I gave her an emperor butterfly that I had in my pockets. She thanked me and rewarded me with her picture!
Octavian was nearby, and I heard the sound of a flea jumping on him. I got my net out and caught the flea. He responded “Thanks, sucker!” But was he talking to me or the flea?
Over by my modern clock, Agent S had already heard about the flea!
She offered to give me a raglan shirt for it, and I accepted the trade. But then Gala noticed that I had a raglan shirt!
She gave me a vertigo tee for it, but the chain ended there. Nobody wanted the vertigo tee. 😀
Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Josh from Sundown was my most recent dream visitor. And in Club LOL, I checked out the Saturday night music performance. I asked K.K. for a random song, and he played Steep Hill for me. Good choice.
Madisyn told me that she just got her tweeter, and then she opened her gate. But I was too slow, as her town filled up before I got there. But she let me know when someone left, so I visited with Madisyn and Laile. While Laile was writing on the bulletin board, I released a moth.
I explored the town a bit.
And I met Lucky, the bandaged (mummy?) dog.
He has a lot of Egyptian furniture…and then a lovely bed?
In the train station, Madisyn and Laile put on their wet suits.
And they spotted a giant down on the dock!
After a very brief trip out to the island, I left the town of Johto.
I went to visit Wendy’s town a bit later, where I met Kiki.
There was a meteor shower in Wendy’s town of Pawnee, so I stopped to wish on a shooting star. But who’s that sneaking up on me?!
Majora Wendy sat on a stump and peed used a watering can.
I gave Wendy some bushes and cedar saplings I had for her, and once she was finished planting them, we went back to Forest. Wendy had some pears to sell, and she also did some shopping. While on Main Street, she realized how my former villager Yuka got her name.
We then finished up with a quick trip out to the island, where we went on a beetle-catching tour. Wendy won.
After that, I ended the session. Before Re-Tail closed for the night, I went in and sold my turnips for a rather large loss. I was checking with everyone that was on today, but nobody had decent prices. And this was the first week that I bought 3,000 turnips instead of my usual 1,000, too. What a pain.
When I went past Rolf’s house, I saw that he was home today. That’s pretty unusual, so I went inside to say hello. There was a reason he was indoors: He’s sick!
I ran into Sprinkle on my central bridge, and she told me she was planning on moving out on September 3rd.
I had to stop and think about what I was going to tell her. As tempting as it was to let her leave, I decided to keep her around until I get her villager picture.
After putting the game away for a few hours, I remembered that I still needed to buy medicine for Rolf! So I bought some from the Emporium and then headed over that way. I made a stop in Kidd’s house to say hello, and I saw that Big Top was also visiting him.
Kidd actually made a reference to someone who hasn’t been on my friend roster for a while. I guess once a name is in their memory, it’s there to stay. But after I was done chatting with Big Top and Kidd, I finally delivered the medicine to Rolf.
He apologized for all the trouble. It’s kind of odd seeing a big tough tiger act so politely. It took a cold to tame the tiger.
He told me he was redecorating his house and he asked me for some furniture. I decided to give him the only furniture I had on me: Gaudi’s lizard. He seemed to enjoy it, and he rewarded me by giving me some mosaic tile.
There was a tent over at the campsite, so I went inside to check it out. O’Hare the bunny rabbit was inside. I’m just wondering how that hat fits on his head. Did he cut out some notches to make room for his ears or what?
Because of the late hour, not much was going on. It was too late to work at the cafe, not many animals were out, and the stores on Main Street were closed for the night too. But I went in the Dream Suite to check on my most recent dream visitor. Luna told me it was Jessica from Hawaii.
Just as a reminder, there’s no Friday Night Forest tomorrow. Instead, I’ll be opening my gate on Sunday night around 8 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time for the final fireworks festival of the year.
