Messing with Mark

Gulliver sent me a tapestry in the mail today from Peru. And Molly approached me, wanting to play a game of hide-and-seek. Let’s do this!

Molly: Let's play a game right now!She gave me ten minutes to find her, Nan, and Frank. Nan was the first one I found, hiding behind Big Top’s house.

Nan: Hey! How did you know where I was?!Frank and Molly were both hiding behind trees, and I found everyone with about five minutes remaining. Molly rewarded me with a scoreboard. I would have used it right then and there if I could’ve. Jeff 1, Team Molly 0.

Molly: And we have a prize for the winner! Here. Please accept a scoreboard from us!Kidd asked me for some fruit, and I gave him a perfect cherry. He thanked me and gave me a tangerine chair. I wonder if he tried eating it and only asked me for fruit because he couldn’t eat the chair. Hmmm…

Kidd: You broadened my fruit spectrum, dearie! So please take my tangerine chair.Gala asked me for some furniture, and I gave her the tapestry from Gulliver. She seemed to like it, and she gave me a ranch dresser in return. I would’ve preferred ranch dressing, but I’ll take it.

Gala: Oh, a tapestry! Nice!Later on, I gave away a graceful painting to Uroosa from Hyrule.

Visiting Uroosa in Hyrule.I also had a couple of items to deliver to Mark, so I headed to his town Topiary. I saw one of Santa’s reindeer while I was there, so I said hello to him. He said his name was Erik, but I didn’t buy that for a second. He looks like a real Dancer or Prancer to me. He must be in the witness protection program.

Erik: Whoa! Someone I don't know! After speaking with him, I dashed over to Re-Tail. I checked the turnip prices, and Reese was paying 188 bells apiece for them! That’s pretty good, so I sold all my turnips for a cool 206,800 bells.

Reese: Well then...I could probably part with 206,800 bells for all of it, if that sounds OK with you?I believe Mark hadn’t played for the day yet, so I played a little joke on him. I told him I saw a new villager plot, and it belonged to Jambette!

Jeff: Oh, a plot...Jambette!!He was not happy, and I think I ruined his day. 😀 Then I told him I was just kidding. However, he didn’t see the humor in it. 😛

Mark: Not funny! Jeff: LOL.As soon as I returned to Forest, Phineas was right outside of the train station waiting for me!

Phineas standing outside the train station. He gave me the Pro Turnip Trader badge, which is silver.

I got the Pro Turnip Trader badge! I'm a pro at predicting the stalk market!Once I get the gold badge, I’ll probably retire from the turnip trade. But I’m still a long way away from that point. For now, I put my earnings into my bank account and my balance topped 15 million bells.

Your current balance is 15,140,000 bells. Also, I want to point out that the Cancer table is now available in America. It looks like we’re finally going to get the zodiac set too like Japan and Europe already have been.

Phyllis: OK, all right. Here's the Cancer table! The cancer table.

The Reconsidering Goat

Molly had some good news for me tonight: She told me Nan was moving out soon!

Molly: I was talking to Nan not long ago, and she mentioned she was thinking about moving...I was able to track Nan down, but she didn’t mention moving. At least not yet. But I also spoke with Agent S, who was standing right next to Kidd. She asked me to make a delivery. To Kidd!

Agent S: I borrowed something from Kidd a while back... And now I need to return it.So I turned around and handed the item to Kidd. He thanked me for coming all this way.

Kidd: Gosh, I'm so sorry you had to come all this way to deliver this to me, dearie! To thank me, he gave me a cabin rug. It’s not the best reward, but it’s not like I went to much trouble to make the delivery either.

Gulliver was down on the beach, talking about a country that has geoglyphs on the ground. I correctly guessed he was headed to Peru, so he will be sending me a gift from there tomorrow.

Gulliver: The country I was headed to has huge pictures drawn right on the ground called geoglyphs. When I went back up the ramp to the main part of town, I saw Nan. This time, she pinged me! Yes! She confirmed that she’ll be moving out on June 30th, which is Monday.

Nan: Well, that really resonated with me. So I've decided to move on the 30th of this month.I’m going to try to be extra careful not to speak to her at all until moving day. I don’t want her changing her mind again this time. Goats are supposed to be stubborn, after all!

I’m going to give the-nice-cat the first chance at her, since I was going to give her Nan last time until Nan changed her mind. If anyone wants to be an alternate (in case I’m unable to give Nan to the-nice-cat for any reason), let me know. Just make sure I have a way to contact you on Monday evening and make sure you have a free spot in your town.

Playing in the Rain

It was raining in Forest this evening, and Rolf was not happy about it. He even threatened to punch the rain in the knee.

Rolf: How long will this last, anyway? I'm gonna punch this rain right in the knee! Tiger!Kidd asked me for a pear, and I gave him a perfect one. He thanked me by giving me a gold stereo. This will go nice in my golden basement, since I don’t have a music player down there.

Kidd: For fetching me that exquisite perfect pear...take my gold stereo!Molly asked me to play a game of hide-and-seek in the rain, and I agreed to it. She gave me ten minutes to find her, Rolf, and Big Top.

Molly: If you can find all of us within 10 minutes, you win!Rolf was the first one I found, trying to hide behind town hall.

Rolf hiding behind town hall.I found Molly behind the coffee shop and Big Top was behind a tree near Re-Tail. I didn’t have much trouble finding any of them this time.

Big Top: No! How'd you find me? I was in super-stealth mode and everything! As a reward for winning the game, Molly gave me a country guitar.

Molly: And we have a prize for the winner! Here. Please accept a country guitar from us!I had another gem rock today and I feel like I practically have gems coming out of my ears. I need to stop banging rocks already! I can’t keep up!

I then went up to Main Street. Luna told me that Mia from SunCity was my most recent dream visitor. And in the Happy Homes Showcase, I had a few new homes to check out. Raven’s home looked really nice, and two of her rooms were playing songs I didn’t recognize! They must be secret songs. But in both of those rooms, she had access to the music players blocked, so I couldn’t see the names of the songs! Ugh!

Raven's home.A different home in the showcase had sleek furniture customized to look like cows. I just had to wonder…why??

Sleek furniture customized with cows.I cudn’t imagine using that furniture in my house. It’s not dairy attractive; it almost turns my stomachs. And wouldn’t it be hard to moove around? I just don’t udderstand.

And up in GracieGrace, I was impressed by the variety of clothing on sale today.

A coral tee and a coral tank on sale.Hmm, a coral tee or a coral tank? I can’t decide; I’ll just take…neither.
