It’s May 1st, and a new month means new DLC. This month’s item is a leaf bed. It can be re-ordered for 4,200 bells. Don’t forget to pick yours up at the post office!
It seems to defy gravity, and it uses a dew drop as a pillow…I’m not sure I’d enjoy sleeping hovering in the air with my head in a pool of liquid. But that’s just me.
Kim contacted me today to let me know her Re-Tail was buying turnips for a whopping 388 bells each! I ran to her town and sold my 1,100 turnips for 426,800 bells! Thank you very much, Kim!
Outside of my own Re-Tail later on, I found a lost item. Shockingly, it belonged to the first animal I asked about it: Aurora. She thanked me for returning her book and she gave me her picture!
There was a green frog in my campsite, and thankfully it wasn’t Jambette. Instead, it was Frobert.
This little piggy went fishing, and this little piggy caught none. Gala asked me to catch an ocean fish for her, so I caught her a red snapper. (Oh, very tasty). She thanked me and gave me a blue clock in return.
I went up to the Dream Suite, and Luna told me that Hayden from Victoria was my most recent dream visitor. And in the Happy Homes Showcase, I ran into Ian again (as I often do). And once again, he had ice cream for me! Today’s flavor was strawberry.
As I returned to town, Nan pinged me. She told me she was going to move out on May 5th! I told her it was a good idea to leave…but then she seemed to change her mind. Bummer.
I finished up my night by giving away my previous (vanilla) ice cream cone. So I went to Pakuyumi’s town Basket to drop it off.
Tomorrow will be my town‘s one-year anniversary! I know City Folk would recognize when your town was one year old, so I’ll find out tomorrow if New Leaf does the same.
And just as a reminder, I will not be opening my New Leaf gate tomorrow night (since it’s the first Friday of the month). So tomorrow’s blog entry will probably be posted a lot earlier than the typical Friday entry.
But she was right; I had been wearing that shirt for a while.
I decided to take advantage of the daylight and take some pictures around town.
You can see the other pictures on my newly-updated
It’s basically a blue version of the fresh tee. And if Tia hadn’t just given me a new shirt to wear, I probably would have bought it. But I did buy a beak for some reason, and I was wearing it when I caught up with Kim. I hope she wasn’t trying to sign Big Top up for the circus!
Kim and I sat on my metal bench for a moment.
Despite my shirt being nice and fresh, I must have still been a little smelly, because she stood up pretty quickly. We also blew our tweeters at each other.
After Kim stopped at Re-Tail, she had to go, so I ended the session. I then went up to the Dream Suite to update my dream town. Luna told me that Juliette from Lavander was my most recent dream visitor.
I’m giving away this collection of sci-fi furniture to one lucky winner. Here’s what you get if you win:
A tent was set up at the campsite today, and Naomi was inside. She looked slightly…evil.
I headed over to my park to check out the tulip topiary that just got put in. I think it looks nice, although it would look better if I organized the flowers around it. They’re all just random flowers in this part of town for now.
I then talked to Isabelle to begin the completion ceremony. Almost everyone came over to the left side; I think Nan must’ve been a bit gassy today.
In case anyone is wondering, I am not planning on putting in a square topiary.
And while I was looking through my catalog, I had to laugh when I saw the Taurus bathtub (Japanese DLC). This is one of the items that Leo let me catalog yesterday.
And up at the Happy Homes Showcase, I noticed Ian was there once again. He gave me another ice cream cone; this time it’s vanilla ice cream.
