Lately I’ve been trying to clean up my town a bit. I previously had the candy all over the plaza from Bunny Day, and I had a bunch of items by my train station too. I still have leftover ores by Re-Tail waiting to be sold. But I’m slowly but surely cleaning up. So the past couple days, I’ve been giving some away. Fabian won my ice cream cone; I made sure to warn him not to accidentally eat it in one bite.
I then returned to Forest and started looking for a good place to put a tulip topiary. I ultimately decided it to put it near my southwest park, just behind my wind turbine and near my yellow bench. This will expand the park; I just need to play during the day sometime to get some pictures with better lighting! The nights are too dark in New Leaf!
Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Leia from Serene was my most recent dream visitor. I was unable to shop today, because the stores were already closed by the time I got to play. Maybe in another month or so I’ll be able to switch back to night owl hours; I’m looking forward to that.
I opened my gate so that Leo could come over to let me catalog some items. Thanks, Leo! We were also blowing our tweeters at each other.
I then went over to Cassie’s town to drop off a few items she won.
I returned home and went to the post office to withdraw some money. I used the bells to pay off my tulip topiary. It will be done tomorrow!

And of course, I made sure to check out my new round topiary!
Big Top asked to visit my house, so I agreed to let him over. He said my house smelled great…as he was standing next to my garbage can.
I found a lost item near the coffee shop, and it belonged to Nan. To thank me for returning it, she gave me her electric guitar. Funny, I never pictured Nan as someone who would own an electric guitar!
Near my western bridge, I noticed some new flowers blooming on my bush.
After 6:00, I went to attend the completion ceremony for the round topiary. Isabelle, Nan, Molly, Big Top, and Gala helped me celebrate.
When I went up to the Dream Suite, Luna told me Stephani from October was my most recent dream visitor. At the Emporium, I remembered to buy some medicine before they closed. I then took it to Rolf, and he said he should be better by tomorrow.
Gala told me she was going to replace her piggy bank! I wonder which one of her kids she’s throwing away? She asked for a replacement, and I gave her a black bass. I was hoping she would give me her piggy bank, but instead she gave me a minimalist minitable. That’s a mini-mouthful!
The square topiary looks similar, but with more squarish layers instead of having rounded off corners.
And last but not least, there’s the tulip topiary. It’s completely different from the other two, resembling a giant tulip.
The round one is my favorite, followed by the tulip one. Each one costs 93,000 bells to install, and I chose to put in the round topiary. After walking around town, I ultimately decided to put it near my police station. From its location, you can also see my illuminated tree, metal bench, and even my fountain through the bench. So this is an extension of my central park.
After taking some money out of my bank account, I paid it off. So it will be built by tomorrow.
Unfortunately, the Emporium was closed before I even started playing for the day–so I couldn’t buy medicine for him. Ugh. So I had to make a sacrifice for Rolf: I purposely got stung by bees.
However, my plan backfired this time. None of my villagers gave me medicine! So Rolf and I both need medicine now. Thanks a lot, villagers.
