Selling Perfect Peaches

It must have been mocha day at the Roost, because that’s what all four of my customers (Agent S, Rolf, Bluebear, and Kicks) wanted today. I don’t blame them; chocolate and coffee go good together!

Kicks: I'll have a cup of the usual, please!I ran into Rolf again up in the Emporium. He told me there isn’t an animal out there that doesn’t like working in the dirt.

Rolf: Do you like working in the dirt? There isn't an animal out there who doesn't! GAHAHA!At the Dream Suite, Luna told me Kimbo from Rag Town was my most recent dream visitor. When I returned to town, Big Top was sitting on my metal bench. He invited me to sit next to him.

Big Top: There's a free seat here if you want to sit down, Mr. J!I joined him, but only for a minute.

Sitting on the bench with Big Top.Tom invited me to his town. He wanted to catalog my cherry-blossom clock and he also told me that his Re-Tail had a bonus on perfect peaches.

Re-Tail premium item: Perfect peach.Unfortunately, I only had three baskets of perfect peaches, plus one individual one. But my 28 peaches still sold for 168,000 bells. Not bad at all.

Reese: Since I'm paying premium for all of these items today...the total is an amazing 168,000 bells! OK?Tom’s friends Gavin and Mamas also came to visit. I dropped a leftover fountain firework and Tom tried to put it out with his watering can.

Tom uses a watering can on a firework.I gave Mamas a pink balloon I got from a StreetPass last week. After a while, Gavin started demanding that we play hide and seek. Naturally, Tom thought this sounded rather suspicious, and he ended the party soon after.

When I returned home, I checked out a new StreetPass home in the Happy Homes Showcase. I particularly liked this room that belonged to Nessa from New York. The red and black color scheme matched my shirt.

Exotic furniture in red and black. And Saharah was in town today, so I hired her to redecorate my house. However, she installed a mortar wall and a playroom rug. It didn’t turn out well.

Aries Rocking Chair

Last night, I was contacted by Vicky, who saw my post about the cherry-blossom clock being the DLC for April. She asked if it was a regional thing, and apparently it was. She told me she got the Aries rocking chair instead, so I offered to trade with her. We plan on trading future DLC items as well. Here’s a look at the Aries rocking chair:

The Aries rocking chair. Then today, Kidd suggested a new public works project: a chair sculpture.

Kidd: I've realized that we don't have a chair sculpture, and we should get one right away.I went to town hall to take a look at it, and it looks like a boot that you sit on. There’s no way I’d put this in my town, unless it was next to an ugly villager’s house to represent me kicking him or her out of town.

Chair sculpture: 265,000 bells.Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Emily from Lunaland was my most recent dream visitor.

Luna: According to the latest feedback, a client named Emily from Lunaland enjoyed your dream. And later on, I went to Ramcat’s town of Pokeland. He was the winner of the cabana furniture set giveaway, so I dropped off his winnings tonight.

Skye’s Tadpole

Unfortunately, my former villager Katt has started appearing up on Main Street.

Katt: Hey, Jeff! Fancy meetin' you here! And at my event plaza, I noticed several pink trees in one area, including my town tree.

A bunch of pink trees together.Nan approached me with a new nickname, Mr. J. Is she calling me the Joker? I know one thing for sure, Nan is no Harley Quinn.

Nan: Yay! I'm so glad you like it! Then it's settled. From now on I'll call you Mr. J!Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Jessica from Petalbrg was my most recent dream visitor. And when I went to visit Agent S, she was talking about signing autographs and handing out photos of herself. Thanks, but I just got your photo yesterday!

Agent S: Maybe I should hold my very own Agent S Event and just hand out autographed photos of ME!I put up a couple of T. Zelda’s Mario Kart designs in my house. Here’s a look at Toad and Luigi. If you haven’t seen already, you can get the codes for these designs and more on the QR Codes page.

Toad and Luigi patterns from Super Mario Kart.Molly told me she was going to move out of town on April 6th! But of course, I wouldn’t allow it.

Molly: On the 6th of this month, I'm venturing out into the world. And back over by the town tree, Skye asked me to catch a tadpole for her. The interesting part? She said it’s the most beautiful fish in the world. Uhh… it’s not a fish, for one thing. And beautiful? Really?

Skye: The other day, I saw a picture of a tadpole. It's the most beautiful fish in the world!Fortunately, the very first holding pond I checked had a tadpole in it, so it was an easy task to complete.

I caught a tadpole... I'm sure it will grow on me.I returned to Skye and gave her the tadpole. She rewarded me with a nine-ball tee. Exciting.

That wrapped up my day in town. But a lot of you are looking forward to finding out the winner of the cabana furniture set. I took all of the entries and pasted them into a spreadsheet, and then I went to random.org to generate a random number to select a winner. It came up with #9, and I checked my spreadsheet and saw that the winner is: Carmen T!

Congratulations to Carmen. I’ve already contacted him and I’m going to drop off the furniture set in his town tomorrow.

I will have more giveaways, so stay tuned. The next one will be for villager pictures, and it will have three winners (since I have multiple duplicates of some pictures). My first two giveaways were on Tumblr and Facebook, so this next one will likely be on Twitter. (You’ll always be able to enter on JVGS also, though). If you have a Twitter account (or decide to make one soon), please follow @jvgsjeff.

Thank you all for reading. I’ll see you next time!
