I had a letter from Mom waiting for me when I started up the game today. She asked me why I stuck a crayon up my nose.

And Big Top immediately wanted to buy my fancy doll from yesterday. He only offered me 350 bells for it, but he said that was his whole life savings.

A notice on the bulletin board informed me that Festivale will be held on March 3rd. I wasn’t a big fan of Festivale on ACCF, but I’m hoping the New Leaf version will be better.

And if you’re not aware, today is the last day that snow will cover the ground. Spring is almost here! So when I saw an igloo at the campsite, I took a good look because I knew it would be the last one I saw for a while. Pompom the duck was inside, getting a stew on.

I noticed a new perfect peach on my tree behind town hall.

So I decided to cut the tree down and turn it into a perfect peach tree. I also tracked down my remaining snowmen and spoke to them for the last time. Wouldn’t you know it? I got a triple ding, but no bingo.

I then made my shopping run up to Main Street. Gracie didn’t have anything I needed today, but I noticed the Able Sisters have started selling Festivale items.

In the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Penny from Box City was my most recent dream visitor. I then returned to town, and Kidd asked me for a peach. I gave him a perfect one, and he gave me a treadmill. Trying to tell me something there, buddy?

After checking my own island, I went to a Club Tortimer island. I went on a couple of tours with the island maid Caleena, who was extremely nice.

Later on tonight, the northern lights were up in the skies above Forest. As I stopped to take a picture, Big Top and Tia both walked into the picture together. Are they on a date??

That’s all I have for tonight, but I’ll be back with more tomorrow. The snow will be gone in the morning. Are you sad to see it go or are you excited for spring?

Last night, Kidd asked me for a pear. I gave him a perfect pear I got from Tiffiny and he gave me his picture again. This means Kidd’s pic will be included in a future giveaway of my duplicate villager pics.

I then took a new Dream Suite Adventure to the town of Izumi. It’s a pretty town; I especially like the church and cafe in Mayor Spazzie’s house. Be sure to go check it out!

This morning, Joan was selling turnips for 94 bells apiece. I bought my usual 1,200 of them.

Agent S told me she was going to move out of Forest on the 27th. Over my dead body!

I had a gem rock again today, in the same spot as yesterday’s! All these gems are piling up as I’m getting them quicker than I can sell them to villagers at Re-Tail.

Up at the Dream Suite, Luna told me Henry from Kyletown was my most recent dream visitor. And the Emporium didn’t have any gorgeous furniture I needed today. But Tia asked me to collect signatures for a petition “Read 100 Books a Year.” Ash let me stop over at her town to get them. Merry, who once lived in my ACCF town long ago, was the first to sign.

I also got the signature of Pekoe the fossil bear cub.

Do these animals understand what they’re signing up for? More importantly, do they even know how to read?

Olaf, Blaire, Flo, and Marina also joined the cause.

Thanks, Ash! I returned to Forest…and I almost forgot about returning the petition to Tia! Oops! Fortunately, I remembered just before I clicked “save and quit.” I tracked down Tia pretty quickly and gave her the signatures. She thanked me by giving me a fancy doll. Are you kidding me?

I took a look at it, and it didn’t look familiar. I don’t think I’ve seen it before.

I know it’s probably too soon to get her picture, but I still would have liked something a bit more cool. Oh well. That’s all for tonight, but I’ll see you all next time.

Late last night, Jessica came over to drop off the clothes she borrowed for Gracie’s fashion check. That was her fourth passed fashion check, so she’ll be getting the Emporium soon. So congratulations to Jessica! I didn’t keep the gate open long since it was so late, but she did stop to wish on a shooting star.

When I started the game up today, I had a whole lot of mail in the mailbox. Wishy sent me this Mama polar bear, for one thing.

Katie sent me a sketchbook. And Gulliver sent me a Moai statue from Easter Island, which I put in my World Wonders exhibit.

I also received all of the modern furniture I ordered from the Happy Homes Academy yesterday. When I went in the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Noah from Pixels recently visited my dream town.

Mayor Cherry of Harvest has submitted another pattern to the QR Codes page, this time a checkered tile for a modern theme path. Here’s what it looks like when placed on the ground:

Up at GracieGrace, I bought the gorgeous bed for 210,000 bells. I only need two more items and I’ll have the whole set!

And in Club LOL, I asked K.K. for a random song and he performed K.K. Safari for me.

After that, I was basically done for the night. But I knew I had to sell my turnips before they expired. My Re-Tail was only paying 93 bells each for them, which is the exact same price I paid for them on Sunday. With none of my best friends online, I just decided to sell them for that price and break even for the week. Hopefully next week will be a better week for the stalk market.
