Today, Tia told me she was going to move out on March 2nd. Oh no you’re not. I’m not letting her leave this soon.
As I shook a perfect peach tree, the tree died (as perfect trees do after a while) and a bagworm hung down. But since the tree was dead and had no leaves, the bagworm appeared to be hanging from nothing.
My final remaining snowman was on his last legs…so to speak. This was his last day of existence, so I said my last goodbye.
After I was done watering flowers, I went up to Main Street. Luna told me that Kevin from New York was my most recent dream visitor. And up at Shampoodle, I dyed my hair green. With the mohawk wig, my Mohawk McClover look is now complete!
After checking my island gift shop, I tried to visit a Club Tortimer island. However, there was some sort of problem and Kapp’n actually refunded my money.
Anyway, Skye asked me to find a peach for her. So I gave her a perfect peach, and she rewarded me with a sky wall. How fitting.
A bit later, Wendy asked if she could sell some stuff in my town. So I opened up my gate and she came over, looking quite different than I remembered.
I believe I haven’t seen her since New Year’s Day, so she explored my town and met some of my new villagers such as Agent S. She couldn’t believe how many black roses I have now. I also showed her the sumo ring east of town hall. We didn’t put the pitfall seeds in, but I had a dry run against Aurora.
I showed Wendy how to glitch…and die.
After glitching, she was hovering in the air.
I glitched into the river too, and Wendy watered my Chia Mohawk. Ch-ch-ch-chia!
Brian from Village also came over, and we all went up to shop on Main Street. Even though I have no plans on buying the full card set at GracieGrace, I did decide to buy this card lamp.
I also showed everyone my museum exhibit rooms. Brian briefly trapped me and Wendy in the gorgeous/cabana room.
After we were done in the museum, I ended the party for the night. Tomorrow night is Friday Night Forest, so the blog will likely be posted quite late.
When I played later on in the day, I checked my mail. Crazy Redd sent me the dynamic painting I purchased yesterday. It turned out to be the real deal, so I donated it to the museum.
When I checked Re-Tail again later, I was disappointed to see that the turnip price had gone way up since this morning. They’re now selling for 290 bells each…ouch.
I decided to ditch the ice brick blocks and make something greener. Especially with St. Patrick’s Day coming up in a few weeks. I tried several shades of green, and I’m not sure which is best. So this is how it looks at the moment, but I might (or might not) change the shade in the coming days/weeks.
When I made way to my sumo ring, I was thinking it’s kind of an eyesore.
I may try to play it again this Friday night, but after that, I may take it down. I don’t have a place to keep all these pitfall seeds, anyway.
In the Emporium, Big Top was telling me how much he loves the smell of dirt. Interesting.
I went out to a Club Tortimer island and played a couple tours with Camille. Even though she would happily select a tour to play, she didn’t speak…at all. Not hello, not goodbye, nothing. Oh well.
I made a quick visit to Tom’s town, and two of his other friends came too. We took bites of the big snow cone!
Actually we were just sneezing on the snowman, but I liked the other explanation better. When I returned to Forest, one of villagers told me that Rolf was sick. So I bought some medicine for him. I thought he was going to pounce on me!
Besides changing to green bricks, I have another tradition I do ahead of St. Patrick’s Day. If you’ve been following my ACCF blog and/or videos, you likely know of
Thanks, Leo! I didn’t dye my hair green yet, since it woudn’t look good without the mohawk. Of course, some would argue it doesn’t look good with the mohawk, but that’s besides the point. 😛 Mohawk McClover will be in full force tomorrow, though! Hope to see you then!
To my surprise, my snowmen were still intact! They are useless however, since my bingo card has expired and I had to throw it away.
I went over to my instrument shelter, and it told me it would start raining soon. This is actually the first time it has saved me from watering my flowers when I didn’t need to.
I think I’ll need to change my ice brick path sometime soon, but for now I just can’t get over seeing all the green!
And there’s something about the igloo that I’ve noticed. It doesn’t just clear out one space in front of the door, it clears out two spaces in front. Here you can see that part of the path is gone, but also the spot directly below that is empty. Each time I’ve had a flower in that spot, it disappears with the igloo.
Crazy Redd’s tent was set up at the event plaza today, so I went inside and took a chance on this dynamic painting.
I made my way up to Main Street, and Luna told me that my most recent dream visitor was Cate from Salem. And GracieGrace sold me a gorgeous closet for 98,000 bells. Just one more piece to go!
As the instrument shelter predicted, the rain started falling and animals popped open their umbrellas.
I kind of think Agent S was flirting with me. But maybe it’s just my imagination.
I also saw Teddy, and he asked me for a piece of fruit. I gave him a perfect orange, and he loved it. (Either that, or he was auditioning for a Red Bull commercial).
But the reward he gave me was a bit disappointing: a gently-used teacher’s chair.
That’s all for now, but I’ll see you next time! I thank all of you who have been reading this blog for the past 300 days. I appreciate your comments and feedback, and it’s good to know you all are here enjoying the Animal Crossing journey like I am. 🙂
