Benedict’s Pic

Late last night, Wendy let me visit her town so that I could get petition signatures for Benedict. While I was there, Kabuki informed me that even though Wendy is the mayor, he is the one in charge.

Kabuki: Wendy might seem like an outstanding mayor, but I'm the one really pulling the strings! But I was able to get all the signatures I needed. Mitzi, Rory, Mira, Pango, Colton, and Kabuki all showed their support for the “More Crayons per Box” cause.

Signatures for the More Crayons per Box petition: Mitzi, Rory, Mira, Pango, Colton, Kabuki.I then returned to Forest to get the petition back to Benedict. I was hoping for his picture, of course. But he gave me a polka-dot dresser instead.

Benedict: It's a polka-dot dresser! I hope you like it! Until next time, J-bot!Naturally, I was disappointed. I went outside and talked to Tabby. She asked me to make a delivery to Benedict. So once again, I went back to the red rooster.

Benedict: Oh, I think I know what this is. It's that thing I lent to Tabby, huh?And this time, he gave me his picture! Now I got Benedict’s pic!

Benedict: It's Benedict's pic!He is the second of my villagers to give me their pic. I put it in my house. Excuse the mess…

Benedict's pic and Tabby's pic on the table in my messy house.Benedict’s pic had his favorite quote on the back: “Don’t put all your eggs in one basket.”

Quote on Benedict's pic: Don't put all your eggs into one basket. Then today, I got a letter in the mail from Tabby. I’m pretty sure she’s asking me out on a date!

Hey! Jeff! Wanna dress up fancy and go out somewhere with me? Let me know! -TabbyI didn’t write her back, but I yelled “NO!” loud enough that even people in other towns could hear me.

When I went to visit Rolf, he was talking about bonsai.

Rolf: The more I learn about bonsai, the more I view it in a whole new way. There's a lot to it!Katrina was in town for the first time in quite a while, so I had her read my fortune. She told me that long-sleeved shirts were the key to avoiding health disasters. But I was already wearing one, so I was safe for today.

Katrina: From this place, I can see the signs. Oh yes, I can... I see disaster upon your health...Luna told me that Jaycee from Icarus was my most recent dream visitor. Hi Jaycee!

As I was finishing up for the day, Aurora suggested a new public works project: a drinking fountain.

Aurora: Oh, Mr. Mayor, I have a request! Would you consider commissioning a drinking fountain here? This is what it looks like:

Drinking fountain PWP: 39,800 bells.

Amazing Painting Luck

Today, Big Top suggested a new public works project: a camping cot.

Big Top: A camping cot! If you agreed to it, we could get one right here! Dumbo! This is what it looks like:

Camping cot PWP: 32,000 bells.Teddy was feeling better today, as I saw him going for a walk. He thanked me for the medicine I gave him the past three days and he rewarded me with a planter.

Teddy: Thanks for visiting me while I was under the weather, master!I got my amazing painting in the mail from Crazy Redd…and my lucky streak continues! It was a real painting once again! I donated it to the museum.

Description of amazing painting: A painting of a city militia that was found, after restoration of the work, to take place in the daylight.I’ve been incredibly lucky with paintings lately, but I know that won’t last forever. It’ll still take me years to finish the art section of the museum, just watch.

At the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Ashlee from Acrewood was my most recent dream visitor. Hi Ashlee!

Luna: According to the latest feedback, a client named Ashlee from Acrewood enjoyed your dream. And at T&T Emporium, Kidd asked a very good question: Where is the restroom? I told him that since the town is full of animals, we’re just supposed to go outside. Preferably behind Tabby’s house. At least that’s what I do.

Kidd: Do you know what floor the boys' restroom is on? ...Actually, does this town even have restrooms? And it’s been a while since I’ve given an update on my badges. They say a picture says a thousand words, so here is my current badge collection:

My badge collection as of October 23, 2013.

Canberra’s Last Day

Tonight, I saw Molly over by the zen bell. For some reason, she was feeling sad.

Molly: Ugh... I'm not in the mood to talk, waddle. Please just let me mope for a while.Perhaps I shouldn’t have rung the bell in her ear.

After I crossed the bridge, I saw a tent at the campsite. Olivia was camping inside. She mentioned the possibility of moving into town, but I didn’t talk to her after that. I didn’t want to make her feel welcome in Forest, because she isn’t.

Olivia: Hey there, I'm Olivia. I'm just in Forest camping for a little while. Not far away was yet another tent; Crazy Redd was in town. Of his four items for sale, I already had three of them in my museum. So my decision to buy the only other item (an amazing painting) was an easy one.

Redd: I see! Ya seem to be really close to that amazing painting, yeah? When I went in to visit Teddy, I saw that he was sick for the third straight day.

Teddy: Ha ha! Oh, this is nothing. Aaachoo! Little tickle. That's all.Back outside, Rolf suggested a new public works project (PWP): A zen streetlight.

Rolf: You should talk about funding a zen streetlight!I’m not really interested in it, but this is what it looks like:

Zen streetlight PWP: 64,000 bells.I then went in to say goodbye to Canberra. She’s all packed up and she’ll be gone tomorrow. 🙂 G’bye, mate!

Canberra: Oh, master! I'm sorry about the news! My big move is tomorrow!I headed up to Main Street for my usual shopping run. At the Dream Suite, Luna told me my most recent dream visitor was Riley from MooMool. Hi Riley!

At T&T Emporium, I picked up some medicine for Teddy. When I got back to town, I gave it to him. Not to sound greedy, but I hope he gives me something good for getting him medicine every day. I’m dying for a villager pic other than Tabby’s.

Teddy jumps into the air as he takes his medicine. That’s all for tonight, but I’ll be back with more tomorrow! Please come again. 🙂
