At Re-Tail today, I picked up my golden furniture from Cyrus. It was a golden chair, which is one that I needed. Awesome.
Outside, Aurora suggested a flower arch as a new public works project.
It’s not something I would put in my town, but I appreciate every PWP suggestion I get. This is what it looks like:
Nook Homes had the astro roof today, so I bought it once again. The golden roof didn’t really match my astro house, so I’m glad to get this roof again.
When I played with Chris a couple weeks ago, I asked him why he wasn’t wearing his usual paw shirt that he always wore in ACCF. He told me that the shirt wasn’t in New Leaf, and that surprised me! So today, I tried making my own version of the paw shirt. It’s not identical to the old one, but it’s quite similar. Here’s a look at it:
Scan the codes found on my QR Codes page if you’d like to have this shirt for yourself.
At the Dream Suite, Luna informed me that Annie from Deertown was my most recent dream visitor. Hi Annie!
Back in town, Aurora asked me for some furniture. I had a customized stripe shelf in my pockets for just such a situation, so I gave it to her. She liked it so much that she gave me her picture!! Aurora’s pic!
After going a long time without getting any villager pics other than Tabby’s, I’ve now gotten three of them in the past four days! I definitely have a good streak going. Here is Aurora’s pic next to Molly’s:
“Always keep your cool” is listed as Aurora’s favorite quote.
Molly was talking about how Halloween is coming up in a few days. The holiday genuinely scares her, apparently. Maybe I’ll feel bad about scaring her now. Nahh, I won’t. BOO!

When I returned to Forest later tonight, Big Top told me to stuff my plants silly with water.
I stopped in my house real quick, and just as I was leaving, Tabby barged in!
I did not want to play with her. So I left instantly. But she’s not very bright, and didn’t even catch on to the fact that I was ditching her. She still thanked me for all the fun.
Over by Re-Tail, Aurora told me that she was going to move out on October 31st.
I quickly talked some sense into her and told her she’s not going anywhere.
And in GracieGrace, I was standing behind the sandwich tank; it looked like I was wearing it, with my wrapped arms sticking out. I felt like a wrapped mummy sandwich.
Back in town, I had the gem rock today. It spit out three gold nuggets that I took to Cyrus over at Re-Tail. I didn’t return to pick up my golden furniture, but I’ll be sure to do that tomorrow.
I got a letter in the mail from the Happy Homes Academy. They told me my house score topped 90,000 HHA points, so I got this silver HHA trophy. I put it in my trophy room at the museum.
Boomer was camping at the campsite, so I went in to say hello. He seems pretty cool, but I didn’t ask him to move in. I want to keep an open spot in case an animal I really want shows up. Someone like Agent S, Bob, or Lolly for example.
At 10:00, I opened my gate for Friday Night Forest. Joey, Patty, and Wendy came over to visit. We went up to T&T Emporium. Patty bought a banana split hat and Wendy bought the witch outfit.
I bought this spooky wall lamp, which I apparently didn’t notice when I shopped earlier in the day.
After we were done shopping, we hung out in my house for a while.
That included a fairly lengthy stay in my golden basement.
I joked that they could take a photo with a mummy for five dollars.
And then we stood around doing emotions for questionable reasons.
I let Joey and Patty catalog a couple items each and we headed to the island. We did the giant dragonfly tour, which is a good one for scoring lots of medals. I like how we’re all in costume in this picture. There’s a princess, a mummy, a diver, and a witch.
We got 20 medals for catching 20 dragonflies in seven minutes, plus bonus medals. I got second place, so I got 7 bonus medals. That’s a total of 27 medals in seven minutes. Joey earned a total of 35 medals in that span!
We then caught fish and bugs for a while. I wanted to save the game, so I chose an easy item-matching tour for us. After that, Patty was about ready to leave, so we returned to the mainland. I sold my catches for about 50,000 bells, and Patty left at 11:30.
After just receiving Benedict’s picture yesterday, I feel quite lucky to also get Molly’s pic today! I put it in my house next to Benedict’s.
The quote on the back of Molly’s pic is “Like water off a duck’s back.” It’s easy to see why this is her favorite quote.
While I was in there, I decided to clean that room up a bit. I had too many items sticking out and crammed into corners. So I put a few items in storage and rearranged some of the remaining furniture. I still need to replace my fireworks table with a spooky table as soon as I see one at the store. But my main room is looking a lot nicer now.
After Joey came to see it, I ended the party for the night. I had a very good time tonight. 🙂
