While I was working at the cafe today, a strawberry shortcake came in and ordered coffee! Its name was Merengue.
Down on the beach, I found Gulliver. I used my megaphone to wake him up quickly, and he was talking about Big Ben.
Naturally, he was headed to England.
When I went up to Main Street, I saw that the Nooklings’ store was under construction for the last time. I’m expecting the Emporium tomorrow!
In the Dream Suite, Luna informed me that Mars from the town of Kthxbai was my most recent dream visitor. That’s certainly an interesting name.

And at Re-Tail, Teddy said that the golden closet I was selling for 15,000 bells was really cheap!
But he was just psyching me out. He said it was still too much for him. Don’t waste my time, Teddy Ruxpin.
At town hall, I decided to use my Animal Crossing logo as my town flag for a while.
Meanwhile, Canberra was expecting me to fish hamburgers out of the river.
At 10:00, I opened my gate and Chris came over to visit. We hung out for a while, but no one else was coming. So I wondered if I had accidentally set my gate to “best friends only.” So I told Chris I would close and reopen my gate, just to be sure. After I did, he messaged me saying he had to go. After a couple minutes, Valeria came over to visit. I asked her if she was dreaming.
She was wearing pajamas and the nightcap like you do when you’re visiting a dream town through the Dream Suite. We played for a while, and then she left at 11:00. I closed my gate several minutes later.
If you’d like the QR code for it, it’s on the
I then went to the Dream Suite. I dreamed of Nintendo’s official New Leaf town. It has Mario, Luigi, and Pikmin themed houses, along with face cut-out standees, and lots of mushrooms you can eat to grow to super size!
I made a new entry in my
I don’t think it looks as good in my town as it did in the Nintendo town. So I changed it back.
I thought that meant he was going to buy me a cup of coffee. But then he asked Brewster to make me a pancake? Huh?
I think this Kidd’s losing his mind. As expected, Brewster says this cafe is only for coffee. No pancakes for me!
After working a shift and earning some superb coffee beans, I continued my walk around town. Rolf approached me and told me he was going to start calling me Skippy.
A gem rock gave me a gold nugget, and I had two of them in storage. So I took them all to Cyrus, and he turned them into a golden bed. Finally, a piece of gold furniture I actually needed!
Up on Main Street, Leif reminded me that when T.I.Y. closes tonight, it closes for good.
He continued, saying this means the end of his gardening corner, too.
And at the Dream Suite, Luna told me that Kyle from Cooptown enjoyed my dream town. Hi Kyle!
I like that wallpaper, so I decided to keep it. I put it in my back room for the time being. And before I was done playing, I got some great news: Canberra is moving out on the 22nd! Woohooooo!!
On that pleasant note, I ended my game for the night. I’ll be back late tomorrow night with a blog about Friday Night Forest, so check back then!
I customized my first piece of modern furniture with emeralds. I’ll use my back room for this set, since it’s the only room of mine that doesn’t have a real theme so far.
While I was out watering flowers, I saw a lost mitten on the ground near by zen bell (and on the cliff above my private beach).
And over at the event plaza, I spotted Gracie! The theme for this fashion check was rock ‘n’ roll! I can do that!
I found out that the lost item belonged to Aurora. She rewarded me with a jungle-camo shirt. (Why not your picture?)
I then went up to Main Street, and saw that Ethan from Habitat was my most recent dream visitor. Hi, Ethan!
I passed Gracie’s fashion check!
That was my fourth passed fashion check, so I have now met all of the requirements for T&T Emporium! It, along with Gracie’s boutique, will be opening soon! 🙂
She also gave me this flan tank as a reward for passing today’s fashion check.
I’m really glad to have my four fashion checks out of the way. I had been dreading them for a long time, although they’re not bad once you plan in advance with all of the clothes of each style. I’m just glad she didn’t ask for modern clothes today; that’s the one style I was not prepared for.
