I got a letter from Gulliver in the mail today. As expected, it contained a manneken pis from Belguim. I promptly added it to my museum exhibit, near the entrance door, so that it can properly welcome all visitors.
As I was outside watering flowers, Big Top approached me and suggested a new public works project: a tire toy!
For some reason, I pictured a tire swing hanging from a tree. But I was way off. This is what the tire toy looks like:
What kind of toy is that?? I’m sure you can’t bounce on it like a trampoline, and there’s no way any Animal Crossing character, human or animal, can fit its big fat head through those tires. So I’m guessing it’s just for looks. Update: You can sit on it, like a bench.
A bit later, Big Top invited me over to his house. But surprisingly, he didn’t know how to get there!
Gracie was over at the event plaza today, giving fashion checks for a “cute” look. So that meant I’d have to go back to my house to gather my “cute” clothes. But first, I went up to Main Street. As I updated my dream town, I saw that Sacha from Cubivore was my most recent dream visitor. (Hi Sacha!)
The Able Sisters had this monster mask, which I bought.
While I was at the Able Sisters, I used the big sewing machine to make two new QR codes. I then returned home to display them. One is the box art from Animal Crossing: New Leaf. It didn’t come out as clear as I hoped, unfortunately. The other is the Wii U logo:
If you’d like either of these patterns, they’re both available in the JVGS QR Codes section.
In my sleek room, I changed my clothes. I put on my “cute” clothes: a heart tee, green plaid shorts, and orange sandals. I didn’t have a “cute” accessory, so I left my monster mask on. This is what I looked like:
Nobody in their right mind would think that makes a cute outfit, would they? Guess again. Despite how it looked, Gracie gave me a fashion check and passed me!
This is my third passed fashion check, meaning I only need one more before I can get the final store upgrade. As a reward, Gracie gave me this pleather vest.

Along with that, the embargo on special visitors has ended as well. Gulliver was on my beach today. He asked me about the Manneken Pis, and mentioned he’d be ashamed to do what the statue does in public.
He will be sending me a gift (the aforementioned manneken pis) from Belgium in the mail tomorrow.
So I reached into my pockets and pulled one out for her. She rewarded me with a school desk. Next, I spoke with Teddy. He was telling me about a story in which he’s a prince from another planet. Is he Teddy Prince Jr.?
Up on Main Street, Rolf was telling me about how lonely the shopping district is. I guess he didn’t notice Harry standing right next to him?
My latest dream visitor was Melissa from newleaf. So hello to Melissa if you’re reading this! And thanks for visiting my dream town! 🙂
Covet has a lot of popular furniture sets that many people…covet. Here, you can see the sloppy set.
She also had a trophy room with many of her awards and villager pictures. Wait. JAMBETTE?? Sorry Covet, but that’s no accomplishment. That belongs in a horror-themed room, along with my Tabby pics.
That wrapped up my day in New Leaf, but I do want to share this video with you. It’s a slideshow of pictures taken during the month of September. If you’re a regular reader, you’ll remember many of these pictures and the stories behind them. The video is set to Stale Cupcakes. Enjoy!
Why would you put peaches in chili?! Anyway, I had no interest in asking Ricky to move into town. I haven’t been like many of my campers lately, actually.
When I went to update my dream town, I saw that Emily from Holland was the most recent visitor to my dream town. If you’re reading this Emily, hi!
The Able Sisters had this skull tee, so I bought it.
When I returned to town, I did a little fishing and diving. After coming out of the water onto the beach, Aurora asked me to put an outdoor chair there. I would if I could, but the game doesn’t let you put public work projects on the beach.
This is what the outdoor chair looks like:
That might be a nice project to put in at some point. So I can sit it in, and all my villagers will see I’m an even lazier mayor than they realized.
