It’s time for some more GameCube Animal Crossing, so I grabbed my tutu and hit the town! Well, at least that’s how Belle thinks it happened.

There was a thunderstorm going on in Forest tonight. I checked my mailbox and found Queenie’s goodbye letter. The queen is dead. Long live the queen.

Lately I’ve had a bad habit of waiting until the last day of the month to play. The problem is that I can’t sell anything on those days, because it’s raffle day! Here’s a look at today’s prizes, although I didn’t have any raffle tickets to use.

I met up with Queenie’s replacement, Cupcake the bear cub. She just moved in, and she’s already called me a dummy.

But there’s an interesting coincidence involving Queenie and Cupcake. Not only did they both live in Forest in 2011, but on Sept. 25, 2011, Queenie moved out and Cupcake moved in. Exactly like what happened today!
Many of my villagers were talking about the fireworks festival that’s coming up on Saturday. Static even said he’s going nuts! Well, he is a squirrel, so I guess that makes sense. I don’t plan on playing on the 4th, though.

Baabara asked me to play a game where I buy a bag with a mystery item inside for 1,270 bells. I could be buying a geltao shirt, an apple, or a pitfall. I agreed to buy a bag, because I actually wanted the pitfall! Unlike the middle games in the series, pitfalls are hard to come by on GameCube. I picked the middle bag, and I got what I wanted!

I didn’t use it yet, but it’s always good to have one on hand…for those times when I need one! 😉
After I was done chatting with everyone, I made sure to pull all the weeds I could find. After tracking down a few well-hidden weeds, I eventually got my town status back to perfect.
Thanks for stopping by, and Never Stop Crossing!
