Candi the Carpet Camel?

It was raining in Forest today. On my way to Nook’s, I saw Candi and I stopped to talk to her. She was pretending to be Saharah the carpet saleswoman.

Candi: I came from far away to sell you a carpet. She asked if I wanted to buy a carpet. I said no, and she got all sad. She wondered how I knew she wasn’t Saharah. Well maybe because she’s lived practically next door to me for ten years? Not to mention a mouse has very little resemblance to a camel? Just saying.

Candi: How did you know I wasn't Saharah, cuddles?Candi: Well, you were right! I'm Candi!Candi: What!? Stop looking at me like I'm crazy!Anyway… I was tired of wearing the skull shirt, so I went to buy something new. The selection wasn’t that good, but I went ahead and bought the blue check shirt. Yeah, maybe it looks like a tablecloth, but then maybe no one will mind if I spill food on it.

Tommy: That would be a blue check shirt you're looking at.
But my eyes are closed, so I’m not looking at it!

I went around town pulling weeds. When I got to the beach, I saw Gulliver lying there.Gulliver on the beach. After I woke him up and listened to his spiel, he gave me a shogi piece. I continued on and I looked for the money rock. I couldn’t help but notice how my head goes into the cliff after hitting the rock.

My head disappearing into the cliff.
That’s gotta hurt.

After stopping at the post office, I returned home and took a look at the shogi piece. That’s all for today, see you next time!

Spring Sports Fair

The sports fair was held today to celebrate the beginning of spring. The sports fair consists of four events: aerobics, foot race, ball toss, and tug-o-war. The first event, aerobics, starts at 9:00 a.m., and each event lasts two hours. But by the time I played, they were already on the final event, the tug-o-war.

The Sports Fair continues with the tug-o'-war!But my mailbox was blinking, so I checked my mail before I headed to the wishing well. I had a letter from Peewee, who has already moved out of town.

Peewee's goodbye letter.I then made my way to the event. The teams were Baabara and Kody against Ursala and Tom. Belle was the flag-waver and of course Tortimer looked on.

Tug-o-war at the spring sports fair.Belle: You can do better than that! Show me what you've got!Kody was pumped up and he seemed to anger Ursala.

Kody: Who's talking trash now? You weaklings!Tortimer seems to be getting too old to even root for the teams. Maybe he should retire, turn over a new leaf, and let someone else be mayor. 😉

Tortimer: I'll need you to root for me. I threw out my back!I watched the event for a couple minutes, but then I left to go meet my new neighbor, Camofrog.

An Island Vacation

It was a nice, sunny day in Forest. I got a letter from Mom in the mail. She still doesn’t accept the fact that I went to live in a village of animals. They’re not all stinky, Mom!

I'll never understand why you've chosen to live with animals. Don't they smell? -MomAfter stopping at Nook’s, I said hello to Puck. He kept going on about how hungry he was. But he lives right next to the river, so why doesn’t he just jump in and catch some fish?

Puck: If I don't get food soon, I'm gonna flip my wig!Even though the snow has melted, it’s still cold outside. I decided I needed a nice island getaway, so I had Kapp’n take me to Island Island. On the way, he sang me his cucumber song.

Kapp'n: They're best ripe an' raw or with some coleslaw...While there, my island resident Ankha asked me to sign the island guestbook.

Jeff was here. 3-17-13Then she told me about how she’s going to make raviolis tonight. Interesting. Is that what they ate in ancient Egypt?

Ankha: I'll try making raviolis. She was then talking about coconuts and how she doesn’t really care for them.

Ankha: I just like looking at palm trees, in my tomb.I then stopped in the island guest house. I know it’s very messy, but I really just use it for storage. I stuffed it full with Jingle items, summer camper items, igloo items, and some other random things. I even keep a DUMMY in there.

My crowded island house.I then hopped on Kapp’n’s dinghy and had him take me back to Forest. Along the way, he stopped mid-song to tell me about the type of women he likes. Too much information, pal.

Kapp'n: I likes a lady with meat on 'er bones.Back in Forest, I talked to Emerald. She asked me if I enjoyed sleeping or eating more. I said eating, and she said I was the exact opposite of her.

Emerald: You're the exact opposite of me, sproing. What’s the opposite of a frog? Haha, anyway I stopped at the post office and then returned home for the day. See you next time!

Happy St. Patrick’s Day, everyone!
