Sadly, Rolf has moved out of Forest. This was his goodbye letter.
I made my way around town, picking weeds and talking to my villagers. Puck told me he wanted to dance the lambada! It’s hard enough to imagine Puck doing the Hokey Pokey, let alone the lambada!
I then met my new neighbor, Peewee the gorilla. He seemed to doubt that I knew my own name.
When I saw Kody, he told me that he painted my roof green!

While walking around Forest tonight, I found the daily money rock. But because of the limited space at the top of the cliff, I was only able to get five money bags out of it (for 2,300 bells).
I made a rare trip inside Maple’s house, and wow, is she obsessed with bears!
She said she was thinking about moving out soon. She asked if I would miss her if she did. I said no.
I know some people think Maple is sweet, but I just think she’s sappy. And I don’t believe your answer makes a difference on GameCube anyway. But still, she started bawling her eyes out.
I continued my walk around town, pulling up weeds along the way. I saw Genji kicking a soccer ball around.
Later on, I ran into Tom. He said I don’t look so fat all of a sudden. Uh, thanks?
I completed my loop around town and stopped at the post office on my way back home.
As expected, Tortimer was waiting for me outside my house when I started up the game.
Once again, he scolded me for not turning the lighthouse on every night while he was gone.
When I checked my mail, I found a goodbye letter from Fang.
Of course the snow on the ground has all melted away, and the grass is green again. But it’s hard to enjoy the grass when it’s pouring rain.
I got a nice surprise when I dug up the day’s glowing spot; it contained 10,000 bells instead of the usual 1,000 bells. Nice! I later found Gulliver washed up on the beach and I woke him up.
He gave me a fishing bear, which is an item that didn’t make it to City Folk.
I also got to meet my new neighbor Rolf, a white tiger. I had him in City Folk before; he’s pretty cool.
I then stopped at the post office before returning home.
