While making my way through the snow, I saw an igloo and went inside. Genji was in there, and I agreed to play a game with him. I lost the game, so I had to buy his rare painting. But fortunately, he only charged me 750 bells for it.

I walked past the lighthouse and decided to turn it on, at least for one night. Tortimer is still going to be mad at me when he returns though.

I ran into Ursala and she was ranting about Wendell. She called him a picky vagrant! A bit harsh, I think.

Kody saw me and wanted to buy my rare painting for 1,320 bells. That’s almost twice what I paid for it. Nice deal.

I then returned home to get out of the cold. The snow will be gone in one week, so until then, I’ll be dreaming of spring.

Today is Valentine’s Day and I got a bunch of valentines from the female animals in town.

Here’s a list of what they all sent me:

• Baabara: polar fleece
• Robin: stormy shirt
• Belle: winter sweater
• Maple: yellow bolero
• Sydney: skull shirt
• Candi: daffodil table
• Emerald: kiddie bureau
• Ursala: billiard table
• Farway Museum: ammonite

Oh wait, that last one wasn’t a valentine.

I kept the skull shirt and put it on; I sold everything else. At 5:00, Pete dropped by, but he didn’t have any more letters to deliver, so he took off right away.

Tortimer was at town hall. I was thinking maybe he was there because of Valentine’s Day, but he was only there because he’s going on vacation again. He wants me to turn the lighthouse on every night for a week while he’s gone. Once again, I told him no. It’s not my responsibility!

I spotted Gulliver on the beach and woke him up. He ended up giving me a tiger bobblehead.

I then put some money in the bank, mailed some letters, and returned home. Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone!

I got a goodbye letter in the mail today. Limberg didn’t linger around town very long.

So I went to meet my new neighbor, Fang the wolf.

On my walk around town, I saw an igloo and went inside. It was Kody’s, and he was bragging about how he built it all by himself. Riiiight…

I saw Static and Belle by the river, so I tried pushing them in. It didn’t work. I think I accidentally made some new enemies.

I stopped at the post office to deposit some money. On the way home, I stopped by the train station. K.K. was there, and he sang K.K. Samba for me.
