Today was Valentine’s Day, so my mailbox was filled with Valentines (along with gifts attached) from all my female animals.

Tutu sent me a No. 1 shirt, Baabara sent me a green tie-dye, Belle sent me a No. 67 shirt, Purrl sent me a U R here shirt, Maple sent me a spade shirt, Candi sent me a cream sofa, Emerald sent me a kiddie couch, and Sydney sent me a crewel shirt. I put on the crewel shirt and saved the green tie-dye; everything else got sold at Nookington’s. I then went around and talked to some of my neighbors.

I then went inside Baabara’s igloo. I played her game and I ended up having to buy her cabana wall for 3,000 bells.

I remembered that Gracie would be in town today, so I started up the game and found her. Of course she wanted me to wash her car, so I did.

When I was done, it was all nice, shiny, and spotless. She gave me a swell shirt as a reward. Unfortunately, that was not one of the shirts I needed for my catalog checklist. This picture shows what the shirt looks like, and it also shows how dangerously close to the river Gracie parked her car. It’s wedged in between a small tree and the river…it’s practically hanging off the edge. 😛

Anyway, I continued walking around town. I pulled some weeds, dug up some fossils, and talked to some animals. I stopped in the post office to mail some letters and deposit some money into my bank account. I went into Static’s igloo and played a game with him. He ended up buying my wagon wheel for 1,440 bells.

After that, I headed for home. I noticed I still had my Christmas tree up (oops), so I took that down and then saved my game.

I started up my game for the first time in two weeks and got a good-bye letter in the mail; Cashmere is gone.

I then went to meet my new neighbor, Purrl. She always seems to be rolling her eyes.

Also, she briefly discussed Valentine’s Day, which is coming up on Tuesday.

While walking around town, I saw an igloo on the cliff, near Maple’s house.

I went inside, and Genji was in there. He talked about how much work it was to build the igloo.

I played a game with him and I ended up having to buy his modern table from him for 1,480 bells. I immediately left the igloo.

I continued my walk around town, picking up lots of weeds and digging up some fossils and gyroids. When I got to the police station, Copper told me that Gracie would be in town on Monday. I should try to remember that, since there are still a few of Gracie’s shirts I need for my catalog checklist (even though they can’t be re-ordered).

I made my way to the post office to mail some fossils away. I also deposited some bells into my bank account. I made my way past the dump, but there was nothing good in there, and I then headed for home.
