Black Rose from a Surprising Source

One new black rose popped up in town today. But the interesting part is that it didn’t come from two red roses, or from two black roses. Its parents were both blue roses!

I had set them by Scott’s house, waiting to be put into storage. (Scott stores many of my hybrid flowers). It hadn’t crossed my mind that blue roses could be used to breed black roses too, so they’re not going into storage any more. I want as many black rose “factories” as I can get, so they’re staying right where they are.
