After starting up the game, I quickly made my way to the beach to find Gulliver.

After waking him up, I gave him his spaceship part. In return, he gave me chocolates. 🙁 For one thing, the chocolates are the worst of all his rewards. They don’t do anything, they don’t look cool, and you can’t even eat them. They just sit there.

But also, I had already received chocolates from him in the past. This is a duplicate. Granted, I did give the chocolates to Bushido last time, but this time I’ll keep it for my Gulliver room I’m working on for Scott’s house.

Just for my own reference, I believe this is my 8th present I’ve received from Gulliver: Chocolates (2x), compass, Manneken Pis, Merlion, Mouth of Truth (2x), and the plate armor (which I accidentally sold).

Anyway, I watered my flowers and found two new black roses. When I circled back around, Gulliver was walking into Scott’s door again, just like he did in my Wi-Fi Moments #40 video.

I found a rare mushroom and sold some things that were occupying space in my pockets. I went into town hall to deposit some money into the bank.

While I was watering my flowers today, I noticed a balloon present floating by to the north. I thought this made for a nice picture of me watching it go by. I did eventually shoot it down; it contained an upright piano.

After not seeing Pete around town between 5:00 and 5:30, plus the absence of any other visitors, I knew the UFO would be making an appearance this evening.

When the time came, I ran up and down my main north/south path. I saw the UFO flying left to right along the highest route. Instead of running directly under it (possibly going too far), I first headed east. I have spots marked off so I know where to stand, and I stood there. Within a couple seconds, the UFO flew overhead and I shot it.

As I was looking for the spaceship part, I saw a dig spot. I dug it up and got a rare mushroom. That’s worth a whopping 16,000 bells.

I spotted the spaceship part just below the cliff. I can give that to Gulliver tomorrow for another piece of his rare furniture.

Two minutes later, another balloon present flew by. I shot it down and got a green pipe. I was able to snap this picture mid-pop.

That’s a lot of slingshot action for one day. Check back tomorrow to see which item Gulliver gives me.

Bill has officially left Forest. Got a goodbye letter from him today.

I watered my flowers and found three new black roses today. One of them was from my blue rose hot spot next to Scott’s house.

I shot down a balloon present; it contained a table lamp. Nothing exciting.

Ruby was sick, so I bought her some medicine from Nook’s.

Saharah was in town once again, looking for old carpeting. Just like she was four days ago.  Since Bill was gone and Ruby was sick, I only had eight villagers I could ask for carpets. Only Mint and Butch helped me out. But since I still had an old carpet in storage from last time, I had enough to get a rare carpet. Unfortunately, Saharah gave me the boxing ring mat, which I didn’t need or want.
