Today, Pete met me outside my door to deliver the new DLC: The creepy stone. This was the letter from Nintendo:
And this is the creepy stone. This one has a skull on top, as opposed to the creepy bat stones sent out in June. This is so that your graveyard can have a little variety. Or maybe one is for dead people and the other is for dead bats.
Later on, I made my way around town to water my flowers. I stopped into the Able Sisters, and they had an incredibly ugly shirt. It’s called the flowery shirt. Believe it or not, I actually bought it…but only because I needed it for my catalog checklist. I later sold it to Nook.
I saw Wendell the walrus in my town.
Even though I didn’t need any of his patterns, I decided to be nice for a change and I gave him something to eat. After I handed him a cherry, he gave me a coloring Resetti pattern. I don’t plan on keeping it.
After I finished my watering, I was done playing. But I was on the forums at The Bell Tree, and someone was asking about a certain wallpaper. I checked my catalog and found the wallpaper in question. It was the tea-room wall.

I needed the ranch chair for my catalog/checklist, so I bought it. I then returned to Forest to water my flowers and talk to my animals. Bob seems to think something is up with Del lately.
I had two new hybrids pop up today, a black rose and a purple rose. I continued around town, when Yuka approached me. She asked me if she should leave town! YES! YES YU KAN!
It’s about time Yuka is moving out! I never liked her. Now I just need to get rid of Jambette…
I then took the bus to the city and checked out the Happy Room Academy. This was the model room.
The theme was the most “grown-up” room. This room belonged to “Burgers,” which is apparently one of Ness’s characters.
While I was in the city, I checked out the marquee/theater for this week’s new emotions. I got “shock” to replace the similar “disbelief.”
At 8:00, I opened my gate. Ness was trying to visit, but kept getting error messages, as he has been a lot lately. Megan and Yann came over to visit, though. Megan let me try on her beard.
The fireworks festival was going on, so many of the animals talked about it.
Megan went to meet my newest neighbor, Deena. They were both wearing the same shirt. Awkward…….
So Megan changed her shirt…and put on a beard. But who am I to question her fashion sense?
Later, on the beach, we started using our shock (and disbelief for Yann) emotions. We kept trying to time our pictures just right. My picture only took a few tries, but Yann had to keep trying for a while.
Megan had to leave around 9:50. Yann and I continued catching bugs. The rare bugs started showing up more after Megan left. At one point, I saw three goliath beetles on-screen at once. I caught them all. Around 10:10, I closed my gate for the night.
