Bring Your Daughter to Forest Day

It rained earlier in my town, so I got a break from watering flowers. But while talking to Avery, he told me he wanted to move out of Forest.

Avery: I'm a wanderer, and I can only stay in one place for so long.I told him not to go, and fortunately, he agreed to stay.  I wish it was always this easy. Then, I spotted Kaitlin in town. Ugh, not again.

Kaitlin: Oh, bother. My daughter has run off again, that naughty kitten...“Oh bother” indeed. Her daughter Katie was in May West, which is Megan’s town. Fortunately, Megan was able to bring Katie back to Forest later on. So the cats were reunited once again.

Jeff: Thanks Megg.I told Megan my suggestion for Kaitlin:

Jeff: Put your daughter on [a] leash.Megan commented on my blue paths. She always seems to eat my tiles, so she asked what flavor the blue ones were. I immediately tried to tell her they didn’t taste very good and she shouldn’t even think about eating them.

Jeff: Blue foods are unnatural! After she checked Nook’s, I ended the party. But I remembered seeing a phonograph in Nook’s and I checked my catalog checklist. As I suspected, it was not marked off my checklist, so I bought it before ending my game for the night.

Tom Nook: Yes, a phonograph. It costs 1,656 bells.

Back to Blue

It’s Sunday, so I made my usual Sunday trip to the theater. And then I made my usual Sunday exit from the theater without watching a show.

Clerk: What show would you like to see today?Phineas was there in the city, so I picked up a pinwheel from him. Yes, I’m copying off of Megan, I admit it. 😛

Choosing a pinwheel from among the gifts offered by Phineas.Back in Forest, Robin asked for a new catchphrase. I chose “with worms.”

Robin: Now I'll get even MORE attention, with worms! Now I just need for her to talk about food or eating and then the catchphrase will work out nicely. But for now, I continued my walk around town. I found three new black roses today, which is the best flower day I’ve had lately.

When I was done, I switched to my Guest character to fix a tile that Megan ate on Friday, and also to change my paths. I’ve had the red paths for way too long, so I changed them back to blue. I think it’s actually a darker shade of blue than what I had last time, but I’m not 100% sure.

Deal or No Deal

Yesterday, turnip prices rebounded up to 99 bells. But that was still less than what I paid for them. Fortunately, the upward trend continued today. Prices skyrocketed to 239 bells. It’s a deal!

Tom Nook: Currently, one turnip sells for 239 bells! That came out to 21,510 bells for my 90 turnips (which I paid 9,450 bells for). I doubled my money and then some. Good deal!

Tom Nook: Yes, yes, I'll take that for 21,510 bells!I then saw Saharah in town, looking for old wallpaper.

Saharah: I came from far away. I wish to trade wallpaper. It is for wallpaper that I came to your town today.I started to ask around for old wallpaper. But at 10:00, I opened my gate for Friday Night Forest. Yann and Megan came over to visit, followed by Jorge about five minutes later. While checking my map for the locations of the animals’ houses, I noticed that half my villagers live in the top-right corner of town.

Jeff: ...lives in top-right corner. My town map, showing five villager houses in the northeast corner of town.Jorge hadn’t visited since April. But he made his presence known.

Oppa Horhay Style! -JorgeAvery was the only animal who gave me an old wallpaper. But I had two in storage, so I had enough to trade for a rare wallpaper. It’s a deal!

Saharah: Here...a tree-lined wall. Very exotic... Treasure it. It is a very rare thing.Unfortunately, I got a tree-lined wall. Just like the one I got a couple months ago. Megan asked to see it and liked it, so I offered it to her. Deal!

We went into Scott’s house to do the merging thing we had planned since the spring. Megan stepped on a roach and acted like she saved the world. 😛

Megan doing a dramatic pose after killing a cockroach.Jorge, of course, had to abuse the toilet and kept talking about his feces and how it was a two-flusher. I went on BRB briefly, and when I came back, Jorge and Yann were having a curious conversation. “We have the same color,” Jorge said. Yann responded “mine is caramel…or milk chocolate.” 😮 But then they told me they were talking about hair color.

Jorge and I were ready to do our starman merge glitch. But Jorge and Megan accidentally merged on their own.

Jorge, who was merged with Megan's white hair: I look like a snowman.Eventually, we did our glitch.

Jorge and I merged while wearing star shirts. We did some more merging/glitching for a while and just hung out there in Scott’s house.

Jeff: I SELL JEGG'S EGGS. Megan: NO I SELL MEGG'S EGGS.Then we went into my upstairs room (the one with the creepy furniture and two Metroids). We visited with the dead dog.

Jeff: Y HE HAVE HUMAN SKULL?Jorge quietly slipped out of the house. Knowing how Org the Grog operates, I know that meant he went to plant a pitfall seed right outside the door. I tried to warn Megan in time, but my warning of “no mg” apparently wasn’t detailed enough. 😛

Jeff: NO MEG I WARNED YOU. Megan, in a pitfall: You did?Yann’s batteries later died, which gave us a golden opportunity to pitfall her as well.

Yann, in a pitfall: NOOOOO!Megan saw the empty house by the river and asked if she could move in. We didn’t discuss her mortgage, but I agreed to let her move in. It’s a deal.

The four of us partying at Megan's new house. We then did some running in Nook’s.

Megan, Jorge, Jeff, and Yann running in Nook 'n' Go.We then took turns blowing bubbles behind Jambette’s house. It appeared that the bubbles were coming through her windows and roof.

Bubbles in front of Jambette's house.Bubbles apparently coming out of Jambette's house.Jorge then pitfall’d Megan.

Megan, in a pitfall: Evil.I then found a bunch of seashells on my bridge.

Jeff, after discovering a bridge full of seashells: OMG WHO DID THISOf course, it was Jorge.

Del had locked himself out of his house, so I went fishing and caught his key. He rewarded me with 600 bells.

Del: Aha! That's my key all right, landlubber! After Megan made a trip home to sell her stuff (my Nook’s was closed), we had a 10-minute fishing competition. Jorge won with 14 fish. Megan and I tied for last place with 11 fish. I blame it on the right brackets. ]]]]]]]

Megan: 11 fish. Jorge: 14 fish. Yann: 13 fish. Jeff: 11 fish. After Jorge posted a message on the bulletin board saying that all shells must be placed on bridges, I proposed a counter-offer.

BRIDGE SHELLERS WILL BE MURDERED OR DELETED. -Jeff
Deal or no deal?

Jorge eventually picked up the shells, but he and Megan were off hiding somewhere (and giving me phony hints as to their location). After checking all of my characters’ houses (and their attics), I got tired of looking. I ended the party as I was in Guest’s empty attic. But after the screen faded in from black, I got a surprise: Someone was sleeping in Guest’s bed! 😮

Jeff acts shocked as he discovers someone sleeping in Guest's bed.For a second, I wondered what was going on. I just ended the party, but now someone’s in the bed who wasn’t there a few seconds ago? But then I realized it was Guest himself. I rarely go into my characters’ attics with other characters when not on Wi-Fi (they don’t appear online), so I forgot that the characters would be up there. So it was a surprise. I then ended my game for the night.
