Once again, Avery was still sick!
But I’ve bought him medicine three times already and enough is enough. You’re on your own this time, pal.
I went around watering my flowers. Since I’m breeding black/gold roses, I often pick up any unwanted flowers that pop up around town. I’ll often put them in the free flower area for my friends, or sometimes I’ll sell them just to get rid of them.
Today, I picked up a white rose near some red roses. I figured it was just one of the daily random flowers that appear. But when I went in Nook’s to sell stuff, I saw that it was actually a pink rose. When they’re on the ground, the pink is very pale and they look like white roses–even to people who aren’t colorblind! So it surprised me to see it was actually pink. I put it by Scott’s house for him to put into storage. Unlike almost all other hybrids, I don’t have many of them in storage.
Everything indicated that today would be a UFO day. And sure enough, the UFO flew by at 8:02. I had my slingshot ready and shot it down. This picture was snapped a split-second before my slingshot pellets made contact.
I then recovered the spaceship part. This was my 22nd time shooting down the UFO and recovering the part.
I ran into Del and he offered me a bunny shirt for 430 bells. Even though I didn’t really care for the shirt, I was feeling generous, so I bought it.

It belonged to a new neighbor of mine, Iggly the penguin.
I also went into Avery’s house and saw that he was still sick.
Once again, I bought some medicine and gave it to him.
Tortimer gave me a picnic basket. It apparently includes mint gingham wallpaper (yummy) and some inedible blue cookies. Thanks a lot, Tortimer!
I made my way around town, and saw that Avery was still sick.
I bought him some more medicine.
I
I caught up with him further down, below the waterfall. He’s lucky I wasn’t peeing off the bridge or something.
Anyway, I found one new black rose today. Nobody has moved in yet to take Kid Cat’s place, but I bet that will happen soon.
