Today, Pelly posted on the bulletin board to say that it’s Jambette’s birthday. Does she expect us to send Jambette happy birthday greetings? That’s not going to happen.
After making my rounds, I then went to the city and saw Savannah there.
And for no apparent reason, I decided to wander into the auction house. I hardly ever go in there. But since they were accepting items for display, I decided to put an anchor up for auction.
I started the bidding at only 500 bells, so if anyone on my roster wants it, feel free to bid next weekend.
I then returned back to Forest and watered my flowers. Not much was going on today. But when talking to Nook, I noticed the “V” part of my helmet made Tom Nook look like he had a blond mustache. Or, maybe a beak. You decide.

Outside later, I used a Roman candle on Sydney while Yann was talking to her. I really wanted to burn Jambette, but she was hiding indoors.
Yann and I did some fishing for a while. There weren’t many good fish, other than the occasional red snapper. We were also talking about food, and Yann mentioned that she has eaten frog before. That sounded gross to me, but we agreed that she could eat Jambette and I’d have no problem with that.
Since my basement is cluttered with Roman candles leftover from the fireworks festival, I decided to use some of them up.
I gave Yann some as well, and we played around with them.
Yann also commented on my message board about my new brick path pattern.
Around 12:15, I ended the party for the night.
When I went into Nook’s, I saw he had a skeleton for sale. This is certainly the right time of year for a skeleton, so I bought it for my house.
I also ran into Saharah in Forest today. She was looking for old wallpaper.
As I started asking my villagers for old wallpaper, I finished up placing my new path down. I copied the pattern to my spots where I had the horizontal and vertical paths, so those changed automatically. So corners and intersections were the only ones I had to change manually. One good thing about this brick path is that only one pattern is needed. My previous path needed 11 patterns.
Sydney ended up being the only animal who had old wallpaper for me. But fortunately, I had two in storage from last time, so I had the three required for a rare wallpaper. I took them to Saharah and she gave me an office wall.
The office wall looks okay, but it certainly wasn’t worth all that effort tracking all my animals down. Oh well.
