City and Saharah

I got a letter in the mail letting me know that Yann purchased my anchor that I had put up for auction. I was surprised someone actually bought it. 😀

My dear Jeff, Your anchor has been purchased by Yann of Tropical. We've deposited 1,000 bells to your account. -The Auction HouseSoon, I took a bus over to the city. Phineas was there, but I didn’t want anything from him today.

Phineas: Nothing to say? Well, that's all right. Come see me again if you remember what you wanted to talk about.I then checked out Crazy Redd’s shop for this week’s new items. He had a lovely end table, a solemn painting, and a stroller. I didn’t want any of those.

A lovely end table, a solemn painting, and a stroller on sale in Crazy Redd's shop.I then returned to Forest. With the way Bob was talking to me, you’d almost think I was a radio station, not a person.

Bob: Letters from listeners keep us on the air, J-rock.I went into the Able Sisters’ shop and saw that they had a BB shirt. I decided to buy it. After all, it had been about a month since I changed my shirt.

Me wearing my new BB shirt in Able Sisters.I watered my flowers and found three new black roses. But as I was about to finish up for the day, I saw Saharah!

Saharah: Your old carpets, you will bring them to me, yes? And for them, I will give you exotic carpets I have made!So I went around asking all my villagers for old carpet. Amelia, Del, and Bob had some for me.

Bob: Isn't it funny how old carpets make you, me, and Saharah all happy? It's like they're magic carpets!I then went back to Saharah and gave her the three old carpets. She gave me a chessboard rug in exchange.

A chessboard rug on display in my creepy themed room.I do like the chessboard rug, but I already had one in storage. There are still 11 of Saharah’s carpets that I never received, yet she keeps giving me things I’ve already had before. As for this rug, I gave it to Scott. Maybe it will look good in one of his rooms.
